Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan unsur ADIKSIMBA dalam teks berita pada portal Kompas.com periode Maret 2026 serta implikasinya dalam pembelajaran teks berita di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian berupa 10 teks berita bertema bencana alam pada portal Kompas.com periode Maret 2026. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, teknik catat, dan teknik dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan unsur ADIKSIMBA pada 10 teks berita memiliki pola penyajian yang bervariasi pada setiap unsurnya. Variasi tersebut tampak pada cara penyajian setiap unsur melalui penggambaran peristiwa, penyebutan lokasi, waktu, pihak yang terlibat, hubungan sebab-akibat, maupun kronologi dan kondisi yang menyertai peristiwa. Selain itu, dari 10 teks berita yang dianalisis, 7 teks berita telah memuat keenam unsur ADIKSIMBA secara lengkap, sedangkan 3 teks berita lainnya belum memuat unsur mengapa. Hasil penelitian diimplikasikan dalam penyusunan modul pembelajaran teks berita di SMA dengan memanfaatkan tujuh teks berita yang telah memuat unsur ADIKSIMBA secara lengkap sebagai bahan ajar. Kata Kunci: unsur ADIKSIMBA; teks berita; Kompas.com; pembelajaran; modul. ***** This study aims to describe the use of the ADIKSIMBA elements in news articles on the Kompas.com portal during March 2026, as well as their implications for teaching news articles in high school. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The data sources for this study consisted of 10 news texts on the theme of natural disasters published on the Kompas.com portal during March 2026. Data collection was conducted using interviews, note-taking, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the use of the ADIKSIMBA elements in the 10 news texts exhibits varying patterns of presentation for each element. These variations are evident in how each element is presented through the description of events, the mention of locations, times, parties involved, cause-and-effect relationships, as well as the chronology and accompanying conditions of the events. Furthermore, of the 10 news texts analyzed, 7 included all six ADIKSIMBA elements, while the remaining 3 did not include the “why” element. The research findings are applied in the development of a high school news text learning module, utilizing the seven news texts that fully incorporate the ADIKSIMBA elements as instructional materials.
