Abstract
This study analyzes the influence of Perceived Security and Perceived Enjoyment on Continuance Intention among ShopeePay users of Generation Z in Jakarta, with User Satisfaction as a mediating variable. This quantitative study involved 160 respondents aged 14–29, domiciled in Jakarta, who had transacted using ShopeePay, selected through purposive sampling and analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4.0. Results show that Perceived Security and Perceived Enjoyment both have a positive and significant effect on User Satisfaction with comparable contributions, and User Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Continuance Intention, showing the largest direct contribution in the model. User Satisfaction is also proven to act as a partial mediator between both Perceived Security and Perceived Enjoyment toward Continuance Intention, consistent with the Information System Continuance Theory (Bhattacherjee, 2001). This study contributes theoretically to research on information system continuance in digital wallet services, and offers practical implications for ShopeePay in strengthening security features and user experience to retain the loyalty of Generation Z users.
