Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terdapat atau tidaknya pengaruh metode Atafora berbantuan media pembelajaran Wooclap terhadap keterampilan menulis teks puisi siswa kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen yang dirancang dalam bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 85 Jakarta, dengan sampel berupa dua kelas, yaitu kelas X-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-5 sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan jumlah masing-masing kelas sebanyak 30 siswa. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh kelas eksperimen pada saat Pretest sebesar 55,36, sedangkan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada saat Posttest sebesar 87,13. Adapun pada kelas kontrol, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada saat Pretest sebesar 52,00, sedangkan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada saat Posttest sebesar 68,00. Berdasarkan hasil uji prasyarat yang dilakukan dengan bantuan SPSS versi 30, uji nromalitas (Saphiro-Wilk) pada Pretest kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,192 dan pada Posttest sebesar 0,439, yang Keduanya berada di atas batas signifikansi 0,05, maka dinyatakan data berdistribusi normal. Adapun uji homogenitas yang dilakukan, menunjukkan rata-rata (based on mean) memperoleh nilai Sig. 0,254 > 0,05, maka dinyatakan data bersifat homogen. Selain itu, uji hipotesis yang dilakukan menunjukkan hasil Sig. (2-tailed) 0,017 < 0,05, maka dapat dinyatakan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara nilai Pretest dan Posttest. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan metode Atafora berbantuan media pembelajaran Wooclap berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis teks puisi siswa kelas X SMA. **** This study aims to determine whether the Atafora method, supported by the Wooclap learning platform, has an effect on the poetry writing skills of 10th-grade high school students. This study employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method designed as a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population consisted of 10th grade students at SMAN 85 Jakarta, with a sample comprising two classes: Class X-3 as the experimental class and Class X-5 as the control class, each with 30 students. The mean score obtained by the experimental class on the pretest was 55.36, while the mean score obtained on the posttest was 87.13. Meanwhile, for the control class, the mean score obtained on the pretest was 52.00, while the mean score obtained on the posttest was 68.00. Based on the results of the prerequisite tests conducted using SPSS version 30, the normality test (Saphiro-Wilk) for the experimental class’s pretest yielded a value of 0.192 and for the posttest a value of 0.439. Since both values are above the significance threshold of 0.05, the data are deemed to be normally distributed. As for the homogeneity test, the mean (based on the mean) yielded a Sig. value of 0.254 > 0.05; therefore, the data were deemed homogeneous. In addition, the hypothesis test conducted showed a significance level (two-tailed) of 0.017 < 0.05; therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. This proves that the application of the Atafora method, supported by the Wooclap learning platform, has an effect on the poetry writing skills of 10th grade high school students.
