Abstract

**** Final-year university students in Indonesia face various uncertainties regarding their future careers, which may trigger career anxiety and difficulties in career decision-making. This correlational quantitative study involved 215 final-year students who completed the Indonesian-adapted versions of the Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale-12 (IUS-12), Career Anxiety Scale (CAS), and Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire (CDDQ). Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics and PROCESS Model 4 with 5,000 bootstrap samples. The results showed that intolerance of uncertainty was positively and significantly associated with career anxiety and career decision-making difficulties. Career anxiety was also positively and significantly associated with career decision-making difficulties. Furthermore, career anxiety was found to partially mediate the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty and career decision-making difficulties. These findings highlight the importance of career interventions that address both the cognitive and emotional aspects of students’ career development.
