Abstract

Ibadah umat Kristen di Gereja GPdI Immanuel Berland Jakarta diikuti dengan berbagai pelayanan seni seperti nyanyian, musik dan tari-tarian. Tari Tamborin merupakan salah satu tarian liturgi di gereja Kristen khususnya yang menganut aliran karismatik. Masalah penelitian ini memfokuskan pada bagaimana peran leadership pada pelayanan tari Tamborin dapat mempengaruhi penari dalam hal kinerja dan motivasi GPdI Immanuel Berland. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui masalah kepemimpinan tari Tamborin di gereja ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus menjadi cara peneliti untuk mencari berbagai informasi secara mendalam tentang peran leadership pada pelayanan tari tamborin yang terjadi di GPdI Immanuel Berland, dengan cara mengamati langsung, melakukan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkap perbedaan signifikan antara dua era. Pada masa lalu, kepemimpinan berjalan ideal, terstruktur, dan disiplin, sehingga berhasil membangun motivasi tinggi pada penari generasi pertama. Sebaliknya, saat ini terjadi kekosongan figur pemimpin resmi yang memicu penurunan kualitas pelayanan. Berdasarkan analisis Path-Goal Theory Robert J. House, disimpulkan bahwa kehadiran pemimpin resmi yang berkomitmen sangat krusial dalam aspek pembinaan, pengawasan, dan pengelolaan latihan demi menjamin keberlanjutan serta peningkatan kualitas pelayanan tari tamborin secara jangka panjang. Kata Kunci: tari Tamborin, peran leadership, motivasi, penari, jemaat GPdI Immanuel Berland ***** The worship of Christians at the GPdI Immanuel Berland Church in Jakarta was followed by various artistic services such as singing, music and dances. The tambourine dance is one of the liturgical dances in the Christian church, especially those that adhere to the charismatic tradition. This research problem focuses on how the role of leadership in tambourine dance services can affect dancers in terms of performance and motivation of GPdI Immanuel Berland. This study aims to find out the leadership problems of Tambourine dance in this church. This study uses qualitative research with a case study approach as a way for researchers to find various in-depth information about the role of leadership in Tambourine dance services that occur at GPdI Immanuel Berland, by direct observation, conducting interviews, and documentation. The results of the study reveal significant differences between the two eras. In the past, leadership was ideal, structured, and disciplined, so that it succeeded in building high motivation in the first generation of dancers. On the contrary, there is currently a vacancy of official leader figures that triggers a decline in service quality. Based on Robert J. House's analysis of Path-Goal Theory, it is concluded that the presence of a committed official leader is very crucial in the aspects of coaching, supervision, and managing training to ensure the sustainability and improvement of the quality of Tambourine dance services in the long term.
