Abstract

**** This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived university support, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and social support on entrepreneurial intention, as well as their impact on entrepreneurial commitment among students receiving funding from the Jakarta State University Student Entrepreneurship Program (PMW). The main issue addressed in this study is the high rate of business discontinuation among students following PMW funding (63%), which indicates that their commitment to business sustainability is not yet optimal. This associative quantitative study involved 160 UNJ PMW participants from the 2024 and 2025 cohorts, selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). The results show that perceived university support does not have a significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. Conversely, entrepreneurial self-efficacy and social support have positive and significant effects on entrepreneurial intention, with self-efficacy being the strongest determinant. Furthermore, entrepreneurial intention was found to have a positive and statistically significant effect on entrepreneurial commitment. This model explains 59.6% of the variance in entrepreneurial commitment and 29.0% of the variance in entrepreneurial intention, and exhibits an excellent model fit. The practical implications of this study emphasize the importance for PMW UNJ administrators to organize training on self-funding strategies, provide personalized mentoring, and offer post-funding incubation programs to foster long-term commitment among students.
