Abstract

***** Indonesia is located in a region with high seismic activity, making reinforced concrete buildings, particularly those with a shear wall (C2) structural system, vulnerable to earthquake damage. Structural assessment based on the ASCE 41-17 standard is required as an initial step in identifying building vulnerability. However, the assessment materials are highly technical and are not yet supported by systematic self-learning media. This study aimed to develop an e-module for reinforced concrete frame structural assessment with a shear wall (C2) system based on ASCE 41-17 and to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed product. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data were collected through literature review, expert validation involving material, media, and language experts, user response questionnaires, and learning achievement tests (pretest and posttest). The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques, including percentages, mean scores, and N-Gain analysis. The results showed that the e-module was successfully developed following the ADDIE model. Expert validation results indicated feasibility percentages of 66% from material experts, 69% from media experts, and 69% from language experts, with an overall average of 68%, categorized as feasible. The implementation stage demonstrated positive user responses regarding ease of use, content organization, and visual presentation of the e-module. The product's effectiveness was indicated by an increase in the average pretest score from 50.4 to 70.4 in the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.39, which falls into the moderate category. Therefore, the developed e-module is considered feasible as a learning medium and is capable of improving users' understanding of reinforced concrete structural assessment with a shear wall (C2) system based on the ASCE 41-17 standard. Keywords: ADDIE, ASCE 41-17, structural assessment, e-module, shear wall (C2), building vulnerability.
