Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan murid dalam menuangkan prosedur teknis ke dalam tulisan yang runtut, sistematis, dan sesuai kaidah kebahasaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring (REACT) berbantuan media scrapbook digital terhadap keterampilan menulis teks prosedur murid kelas XI SMK Negeri 5 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain quasi experimental dan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 30 murid. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes menulis teks prosedur berupa pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 87,67, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 84,67. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Independent Samples t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,007 < 0,05 sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran REACT berbantuan media scrapbook digital berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis teks prosedur murid kelas XI SMK Negeri 5 Jakarta. ***** This research was motivated by students’ difficulties in transforming technical procedures into coherent, systematic, and linguistically appropriate written texts. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring (REACT) learning model assisted by digital scrapbook media on the procedural text writing skills of Grade XI students at SMK Negeri 5 Jakarta. This study employed an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design and a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of an experimental class and a control class, each comprising 30 students. Data were collected through procedural text writing tests administered as pretest and posttest. The results showed that the mean posttest score of the experimental class was 87.67, while that of the control class was 84.67. The hypothesis test using an Independent Samples t-test showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.007 < 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Therefore, the REACT learning model assisted by digital scrapbook media had a significant effect on the procedural text writing skills of Grade XI students at SMK Negeri 5 Jakarta.
