Abstract

ABSTRAK Kebijakan Menteri Pendidikan Muhajir Effendy yang menjelaskan bahwa kepala sekolah saat ini bukanlah guru yang mendapatkan tugas tambahan. Kepala Sekolah harus di jabat oleh orang yang memiliki kemampuan manajerial. Lebih lanjut pada tahun 2014 Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi DKI Jakarta mengeluarkan kebijakan Regrouping yang dimana dalam satu kompleks sekolah Dasar yang pada awalnya terbagi dalam beberapa sekolah 4 sampai 5 sekolah lalu di kumpulkan menjadi 1 sekolah. Hal ini yang mendasari peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepribadian, komunikasi, konflik dan kepercayaan terhadap komitmen tugas Kepala Sekolah Dasar Negeri Di Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap komitmen tugas yang melibatkan 317 Kepala Sekolah Dasar Negeri yang telah dipilih dari target populasi Kepala Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Provinsi DKI Jakarta dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif pendekatan analisis jalur. Berdasarkan data empiris di temukan bahwa komitmen tugas kepala sekolah di pengaruhi lebih dominan oleh konflik yang terjadi disekolah, dengan indikator terbesar yaitu adanya perselisihan pendapat. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya konflik diantaranya beban kerja kepala sekolah yang semakin bertambah setelah regrouping dan proses seleksi dalam penentuan kepala sekolah yang menjabat dirasa kurang tepat. Novelty dalam penelitian ini terkait komitmen tugas terbukti masih jarang di lakukan berdasarkan kurun waktu tahun 1980-2018 baru di temukan 8 penelitian yang terpublish di jurnal internasional dan pada umumnya penelitian komitmen tugas menjadikan siswa sebagai respondennya, sedangkan dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi responden adalah kepala sekolah. Dan dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa komitmen tugas kepala Sekolah Dasar Negeri Jakarta sangat di pengaruhi oleh variabel konflik yang terjadi di lingkungan sekolah. *********** ABSTRACT Education Minister Muhajir Effendy's policy explains that the current school principal is not a teacher who gets additional assignments. The principal must be held by someone with managerial ability. Furthermore, in 2014 the DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office issued a Regrouping policy which in one elementary school complex which was originally divided into 4 to 5 schools was then collected into 1 school. This is what underlies researchers to conduct research with the aim to determine the effect of personality, communication, conflict and trust in the commitment of the duties of the Principal of State Primary Schools in DKI Jakarta Province. The study was conducted on task commitments involving 317 Principals of State Elementary Schools selected from the target population of Principals of State Primary Schools in DKI Jakarta Province by using a quantitative method of path analysis approach. Based on empirical data, it was found that the commitment of school principals was influenced more dominantly by conflicts occurring at school, with the biggest indicator being disagreement. Many factors cause conflicts, including the increasing workload of principals after regrouping and the selection process in determining which school principals are considered inappropriate. Novelty in this study related to task commitments proved to be rarely done based on the period 1980-2018 only found 8 studies published in international journals and in general the task commitment research made students as respondents, whereas in this study respondents who became respondents were principals . And in this study it was found that the commitment of the principal of the Jakarta State Elementary School was greatly influenced by the conflict variables that occurred in the school environment.
