Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis tasybih yang terdapat dalam empat puisi Mahmoud Darwish, yaitu 'Āsyiq Min Filasṭīn, Anā Min Hunā, Biṭāqah Huwiyyah, dan Aḥmad Az-Za‘tar, serta menganalisis citra estetika yang dibangun melalui penggunaan tasybih dalam puisi-puisi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis berbasis studi kepustakaan. Data penelitian berupa larik-larik puisi yang mengandung gaya bahasa tasybih. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik membaca secara mendalam, mencatat, mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasikan, kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan teori tasybih dalam Al-Balāghah al-Wāḍiḥah serta teori At-Taṣwīr al-Fannī (citra estetika) yang dikemukakan oleh Sayyid Qutb. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan sebanyak 27 data tasybih yang tersebar dalam keempat puisi tersebut. Berdasarkan klasifikasi Al-Balāghah al-Wāḍiḥah, data tersebut mencakup 27 data tasybih ṣarīḥ, 21 data tasybih ghair tamṡīl, 13 data tasybih mursal, 13 data tasybih balīgh, 7 data tasybih mufaṣṣal, 6 data tasybih mujmal, dan 1 data tasybih mu'akkad. Jumlah tersebut menunjukkan bahwa satu data dapat memuat lebih dari satu jenis tasybih sesuai dengan karakteristik unsur-unsur pembentuknya. Berdasarkan teori At-Taṣwīr al-Fannī, tasybih-tasybih tersebut membentuk citra estetika yang beragam, meliputi citra visual, emosional, simbolik, dan imajinatif, sehingga mampu memperkuat ekspresi penyair dalam menghadirkan tema cinta, identitas, tanah air, perjuangan, serta perlawanan rakyat Palestina. Dengan demikian, penggunaan tasybih dalam puisi Mahmoud Darwish tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiasan retoris, tetapi juga menjadi sarana pembentukan makna, penguatan pesan ideologis, dan penciptaan pengalaman estetis bagi pembaca. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa materi tasybih dalam puisi Mahmoud Darwish relevan untuk dijadikan bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Balaghah karena mampu menghubungkan teori balaghah dengan penerapannya dalam karya sastra modern. ***** This study aims to identify the types of tashbih found in four poems by Mahmoud Darwish, namely 'Āshiq Min Filasṭīn, Anā Min Hunā, Biṭāqah Huwiyyah, and Aḥmad Az-Za‘tar, as well as to analyze the aesthetic imagery created through the use of tashbih in these poems. This research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive-analytical method based on library research. The research data consisted of poetic lines containing tashbih. Data were collected through close reading, note-taking, identification, and classification, and were subsequently analyzed using the theory of tashbih presented in Al-Balāghah al-Wāḍiḥah and the theory of At-Taṣwīr al-Fannī (artistic imagery) proposed by Sayyid Qutb. The findings reveal that a total of 27 instances of tashbih were identified across the four poems. Based on the classification of Al-Balāghah al-Wāḍiḥah, the data comprise 27 instances of tashbih ṣarīḥ, 21 instances of tashbih ghayr tamthīl, 13 instances of tashbih mursal, 13 instances of tashbih balīgh, 7 instances of tashbih mufaṣṣal, 6 instances of tashbih mujmal, and 1 instance of tashbih mu'akkad. According to the theory of At-Taṣwīr al-Fannī, these tashbih create various forms of aesthetic imagery, including visual, emotional, symbolic, and imaginative imagery, thereby strengthening the poet's expression of love, identity, homeland, struggle, and the resistance of the Palestinian people. Therefore, tashbih in Mahmoud Darwish's poetry functions not merely as a rhetorical ornament but also as a means of constructing meaning, reinforcing ideological messages, and creating aesthetic experiences for readers. Furthermore, the findings indicate that the use of tashbih in Mahmoud Darwish's poetry is relevant as instructional material for teaching Balaghah, as it effectively connects rhetorical theory with its application in modern Arabic literature.
