Abstract
Klasifikasi makhluk hidup merupakan salah satu materi Biologi yang sulit dipahami peserta didik karena memuat banyak tingkatan takson dan istilah ilmiah. Selain itu, media yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran non-proyeksi ular tangga yang layak digunakan pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Hannafin and Peck. Produk yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa, serta diuji kepada guru Biologi dan peserta didik melalui uji coba kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa, serta angket penilaian guru dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid berdasarkan validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa. Penilaian guru serta uji coba peserta didik menunjukkan bahwa media memperoleh kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media pembelajaran non-proyeksi ular tangga dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran Biologi. Media ini berpotensi menjadi alternatif dalam mendukung keterlibatan peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini terbatas pada tahap pengembangan dan uji kelayakan, sehingga penelitian selanjutnya dapat menguji efektivitas produk yang dikembangkan. ***** Living organism classification is one of the Biology topics that students find difficult to understand because it involves numerous taxonomic levels and scientific terms. In addition, the instructional media used in the learning process have not fully engaged students in active learning. This study aimed to develop a feasible non-projection snakes and ladders learning media for the topic of living organism classification. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Hannafin and Peck development model. The developed product was validated by material, media, and language experts and evaluated by a Biology teacher as well as students through small-group and large-group trials. Data were collected using validation sheets for the material, media, and language experts, along with questionnaires administered to the teacher and students. The results showed that the developed media achieved a very valid category based on the evaluations of the material, media, and language experts. The teacher's evaluation and the students' trial results also indicated that the media was categorized as highly feasible. Based on these findings, the non-projection snakes and ladders learning media is considered highly feasible for use in Biology learning. The media has the potential to serve as an alternative instructional medium that supports students' engagement during the learning process. However, this study was limited to the development and feasibility evaluation stages; therefore, future research is recommended to examine the effectiveness of the developed product.
