Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh keterlibatan ayah terhadap agresivitas siswa SMP di wilayah Kecamatan Bekasi Selatan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP di Kecamatan Bekasi Selatan, dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 373 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik convience sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan Inventory of Father Involvement (IFI) dan Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire (BPAQ) yang telah diadaptasi. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan IBM SPSS Statistics. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan dari keterlibatan ayah terhadap agresivitas pada siswa SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Bekasi Selatan (r²=0,147 dan p=0,000) artinya terdapat pengaruh sebesar 14,7%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterlibatan ayah memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap agresivitas siswa SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Bekasi Selatan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan maka semakin rendah agresivitas siswa SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Bekasi Selatan. Saran yang diberikan adalah orang tua terutama ayah untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan melalui komunikasi terbuka, pengawasan dan dukungan emosional. Bagi guru BK, memfasilitasi kegiatan seminar parenting serta pengembangan keterampilan regulasi emosi untuk membantu siswa. ***** This study aims to determine the influence of father involvement on the aggressiveness of junior high school students in Bekasi Selatan. The population of this study is junior high school students in Bekasi Selatan, with a research sample of 373 students. Sampling was conducted using a convenience sampling technique. The method used is a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out using the Inventory of Father Involvement (IFI) and the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire (BPAQ), which have been adapted. The obtained data were then analyzed using a simple linear regression analysis test with IBM SPSS Statistics. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant negative influence of father involvement on the aggression of public junior high school students in Bekasi Selatan (r²=0.147 and p=0.000), meaning there is an influence of 14.7%. It can be concluded that father involvement has a negative effect on the aggressiveness of public junior high school students in Bekasi Selatan. The results indicate that the higher the father's involvement in parenting, the lower the aggressiveness of public junior high school students in Bekasi Selatan. The recommendation given is for parents, especially fathers, to increase involvement through open communication, supervision, and emotional support. For school counselors, it is suggested to facilitate parenting seminar activities as well as the development of emotional regulation skills to assist students.
