Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku cerita interaktif sebagai media edukasi untuk mengenalkan identitas diri pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Pada tahap analysis, dilakukan analisis kebutuhan melalui observasi, wawancara, penyebaran angket kepada orang tua, serta studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan media pembelajaran terkait pengenalan identitas diri anak. Tahap design meliputi perancangan isi cerita, karakter, ilustrasi, fitur interaktif, serta instrumen penelitian. Tahap development menghasilkan buku cerita interaktif “Ini Aku” dan “Ini Aku, Ini Tubuhku” yang kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Tahap implementation dilakukan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di BKB PAUD Mulia dan TK Bahtera Ceria. Tahap evaluation dilakukan melalui evaluasi dan revisi produk berdasarkan hasil validasi serta implementasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan validasi ahli, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase sebesar 89,06% dan ahli media sebesar 85% dengan kategori sangat layak. Penilaian praktisi pendidikan memperoleh persentase sebesar 99,04%, sedangkan tanggapan orang tua memperoleh sebesar 87,56%. Hasil observasi selama implementasi juga menunjukkan respons positif anak terhadap penggunaan buku cerita interaktif. Dengan demikian, buku cerita interaktif “Ini Aku” dan “Ini Aku, Ini Tubuhku” dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media edukasi untuk mengenalkan identitas diri pada anak usia 5-6 tahun, termasuk mengenali diri, jenis kelamin, bagian tubuh, serta pentingnya menjaga tubuh pribadi. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan melakukan implementasi pada subjek yang lebih luas dan dalam konteks pembelajaran yang beragam. ***** This study aimed to develop interactive storybooks as educational media to introduce self-identity to children aged 5-6 years. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, consisting of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. In the analysis stage, a needs assessment was conducted through observations, interviews, parent questionnaires, and a literature review to identify the need for learning media related to introducing children's self-identity. The design stage involved developing the storyline, characters, illustrations, interactive features, and research instruments. The development stage produced the interactive storybooks “Ini Aku” and “Ini Aku, Ini Tubuhku,” which were subsequently validated by material and media experts. The implementation stage was conducted with children aged 5-6 years at BKB PAUD Mulia and TK Bahtera Ceria. The evaluation stage involved evaluating and revising the product based on the results of expert validation and implementation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and expert validation, and were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that material expert validation obtained a percentage of 89.06%, while media expert validation obtained 85%, both categorized as highly feasible. Educational practitioners' assessment reached 99.04%, while parents' responses reached 87.56%. Observations during implementation also showed positive responses from children toward the use of the interactive storybooks. Therefore, the interactive storybooks “Ini Aku” and “Ini Aku, Ini Tubuhku” were considered feasible as educational media for introducing self-identity to children aged 5-6 years, including recognizing oneself, sex, body parts, and the importance of protecting one's private body. Further research is recommended to implement the media with broader participants and in more diverse learning contexts.
