Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui berpengaruh langsung atau tidak langsung dari ketangguhan mental, berpikir kritis dan pengetahuan peraturan terhadap hasil keputusan umpire cricket. Serta peran mediasi pengetahuan peraturan berpengaruh langsung atau tidak langsung ketangguhan mental, berpikir kritis terhadap hasil keputusan umpire cricket. Penelitan menggunakan metode deskriptif asosiatif dengan analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis jalur (path analysis). Sampel terdiri dari 15 umpire atau wasit dari Provinsi DKI Jakarta, yang dipilih dengan menggunakan metode Insidental sampling dari populasi umpire PCI DKI Jakarta. Penarikan kesimpulan hipotesis dilakukan berdasarkan hasil perhitungan koefisien jalur dan signifikansi pada setiap jalur yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,049. Nilai tersebut berarti bahwa pengaruh ketangguhan mental terhadap hasil keputusan sebesar 4,9%. 2) Nilai koefisien determinasi berpikir kritis sebesar 0,041. Nilai tersebut berarti bahwa pengaruh berpikir kritis terhadap hasil keputusan sebesar 4,1%. 3) Nilai koefisien determinasi pengetahuan peraturan sebesar 0,069. Nilai tersebut berarti bahwa pengaruh pengetahuan peraturan terhadap hasil keputusan sebesar 6,9%. 4) Nilai koefisien determinasi ketangguhan mental sebesar 0,032. Nilai tersebut berarti bahwa pengaruh ketangguhan mental terhadap pengetahuan peraturan sebesar 3,2%. 5) Nilai koefisien determinasi berpikir kritis sebesar 0,016. Nilai tersebut berarti bahwa pengaruh berpikir kritis terhadap pengetahuan peraturan sebesar 1,6%. Kata Kunci: Ketangguhan Mental, Berpikir Kritis, Pengetahuan Peraturan, Hasil Keputusan Umpire Cricket ***** This study aims to examine the direct and indirect effects of mental toughness, critical thinking, and knowledge of the Laws of Cricket on the decision-making performance of cricket umpires. It also investigates the mediating role of knowledge of the Laws of Cricket in the relationship between mental toughness and critical thinking with umpires' decision-making performance. This research employed a descriptive-associative method, with path analysis used as the primary analytical technique. The sample consisted of 15 cricket umpires from the Jakarta Cricket Association (PCI DKI Jakarta), selected using incidental sampling from the population of PCI DKI Jakarta umpires. Hypothesis testing was conducted based on the path coefficients and the significance of each hypothesized relationship. The results showed that: (1) the coefficient of determination for the effect of mental toughness on decision-making performance was 0.049, indicating that mental toughness contributed 4.9% to umpires' decision-making performance; (2) the coefficient of determination for the effect of critical thinking on decision-making performance was 0.041, indicating a contribution of 4.1%; (3) the coefficient of determination for the effect of knowledge of the Laws of Cricket on decision-making performance was 0.069, indicating a contribution of 6.9%; (4) the coefficient of determination for the indirect effect of mental toughness on knowledge of the Laws of Cricket was 0.032, indicating a contribution of 3.2%; and (5) the coefficient of determination for the indirect effect of critical thinking on knowledge of the Laws of Cricket was 0.016, indicating a contribution of 1.6%.
