Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi kepala sekolah dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan keberlanjutan Program Adiwiyata di SMP Negeri 48 Jakarta sebagai upaya mewujudkan sekolah yang peduli dan berbudaya lingkungan melalui integrasi nilai-nilai keberlanjutan dalam pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi kepala sekolah dalam perencanaan dilakukan melalui penyusunan program berbasis lingkungan, pembentukan tim Adiwiyata, dan kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak, sedangkan dalam pelaksanaan diwujudkan melalui integrasi kurikulum berwawasan lingkungan serta pembiasaan perilaku peduli lingkungan seperti program OPOR (One Pack One Rubbish), Safari Bersih, dan pemanfaatan teknologi untuk mengurangi penggunaan kertas. Dalam menjaga keberlanjutan program, kepala sekolah melakukan pembinaan berkelanjutan, penguatan budaya sekolah, dan regenerasi kader Adiwiyata. Dengan demikian, strategi kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam keberhasilan implementasi Program Adiwiyata melalui kepemimpinan yang kolaboratif, inovatif, dan berorientasi pada keberlanjutan. ***** This study aims to analyze the principal’s strategies in planning, implementing, and sustaining the Adiwiyata Program at SMP Negeri 48 Jakarta as an effort to create environmentally caring and cultured schools by integrating sustainability values into education. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the principal’s planning strategies include developing environmentally based programs, forming an Adiwiyata team, and collaborating with various stakeholders, while implementation is carried out through the integration of an environmental-based curriculum and the habituation of environmentally friendly behaviors such as the OPOR (One Pack One Rubbish) program, Safari Bersih, and the use of digital technology to reduce paper usage. In ensuring sustainability, the principal conducts continuous mentoring, strengthens school culture, and regenerates Adiwiyata cadres among students. Therefore, the principal’s strategies play a crucial role in the successful implementation of the Adiwiyata Program through collaborative, innovative, and sustainability-oriented leadership.
