Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru pada SMAN 55 Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama tiga bulan terhitung sejak bulan April sampai dengan bulan Juni 2008. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dan ekspos fakto dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian adalah Guru SMAN 55 Jakarta Selatan. Berdasarkan survey awal, populasi terjangkaunya adalah guru tetap / PNS yang berjumlah 51 orang. Dari jumlah populasi terjangkau tersebut dijadikan sampel sebanyak 44 orang. Pengambilan sampel tersebut didasarkan pada tabel penentuan jumlah sampel dari populasi tertentu dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik acak sederhana (Simple Random Sampling). Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh persamaan regresi linier sederhana Ŷ= 71,29 + 0,075X. Uji persyaratan analisis untuk menguji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X menunjukan bahwa galat taksiran regresi Y atas X berdistribusi normal. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh perhitungan yang menunjukkan bahwa Lhitung (0.0708) < Ltabel (0,1336) dengan menggunakan uji Liliefors pada taraf signifikan (α) = 0,05 Dalam uji hipotesis, uji keberartian dan kelinieran regresi menggunakan tabel Analisis Varians (ANAVA). Dari hasil uji keberartian regresi diperoleh Fhitung (16.28) > Ftabel (4.07) yang menyatakan regresi berarti. Dari hasil uji linearitas regresi diperoleh Fhitung (0,67) < Ftabel (2,08) yang menunjukkan bahwa model regresi yang digunakan adalah linier. Koefisien korelasi yang dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Product Moment menghasilkan rxy sebesar 0,529 termasuk pada kategori sedang. Hasil dari uji signifikansi diperoleh thitung sebesar 4,04 dan ttabel sebesar 1,68. Dikarenakan thitung > ttabel, maka disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru pada SMAN 55 Jakarta Selatan. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi menunjukkan 0,2798. Hal ini berarti varian yang terjadi pada variabel kinerja guru 0,2798 ditentukan oleh varian kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Dapat diartikan bahwa variasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru = 27,98%, dan sisanya 72,02% ditentukan oleh faktor-faktor lainnya, yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru pada SMAN 55 Jakarta Selatan. Hal tersebut berarti semakin baik kepemimpinan kepala sekolah maka semakin baik pula kinerja guru pada SMAN 55 Jakarta Selatan. ***** This research conducted to know level of influence leadership headmaster toward the teacher performance at SMAN 55 South Jakarta. The period of the research was three months, since April until June 2008. This research used survey methods and expos facto methods by correlation approach. The population of this research is teacher of SMAN 55 South Jakarta. Based on survey is initial, population of the range of is learning fixed / PNS amounting to 51 people. From amount of populations are reached the made by sample counted 44 people. The sampling based on tables of determination of amount of samples from certain populations with mistakes levels of 5%. Technique in sampling in this research is technique in simple random sampling. Equation of the simple linear regression give the formula of regression Ŷ = 71,29 + 0,075X. The analysis conditional test proved the validation on variable Y to variable X is normal distributed. It is proved by the calculation that used Liliefors test at significant level (α) = 0,05 that indicates Lcounted (0.0708) < L table (0,1336). At the hypotesis test the significant and linear regression test are using variance analysis table (ANAVA). The result of the significant regression test indicates Fcounted (16.28) > Ftable (4.07). It state the formula of regression is significant. The result of the linear regression test indicates Fcounted (0,67) < Ftable (2,08). It state the regression model is linear. Correlation coefficient which calculated by using formula Product Moment yield rxy = 0,529 inclusion at medium category. Result from significance test obtained by tcounted = 4,04 and ttable = 1,68. Because of tcounted > ttable, the research indicates there is a significant correlation between leadership of headmaster with performance learning at SMAN 55 South Jakarta. Calculation coefficient of determination show 0,2798. This thing mean variant happened at teacher performance variable = 0,2798 determined by variant of leadership of headmaster. Can be interpreted that various leadership of headmaster toward teacher performance = 27,98%, and the rest of 72,02% determined by other factors, is not included in this research. Conclusion of research is there are influence which are positive between leadership of headmasters toward teacher performances at SMAN 55 South Jakarta. The mentioned meaning progressively good leadership of headmaster hence progressively good also teacher performance at SMAN 55 South Jakarta.
