Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data atau fakta yang tepat (sahih, benar, valid) dan dapat dipercaya (reliable) mengenai hubungan antara konsep diri dengan kinerja karyawan pada PT Vito Info Technology Jakarta Pusat. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama kurang lebih tiga bulan terhitung mulai bulan April sampai dengan Juni 2008. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT Vito Info Technology Jakarta Pusat sejumlah 65 orang, populasi terjangkau sejumlah 35 orang, dengan sampel sejumlah 30 orang karyawan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik propotional random sampling. Data variabel X (konsep diri) diperoleh dari pengisian instrument penelitian dengan bentuk skala likert, setelah itu dilakukan uji validitas konstruk melalui proses validasi yaitu perhitungan koefisien korelasi skor butir dengan skor total dan uji reliabilitas dengan rumus Alpha Cronbach dan hasil reliabilitas variabel X adalah 0,920. Sedangkan data variabel Y (kinerja karyawan) diperoleh dari daftar hasil kinerja PT Vito Info Technology Jakarta Pusat. Uji persyaratan analisis yang dilakukan adalah dengan mencari persamaan regresi yang di dapat adalah Y = 50,42 + 0,212 X. Selanjutnya uji normalitas galat taksiran regresi atas X dengan menggunakan uji liliefors dan diperoleh Lhitung = 0,089 dibandingkan dengan Ltabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 sebesar 0,161 maka Lhitung < Ltabel. Hal ini berarti galat taksiran Y atas X berdistribusi normal. Uji keberartian regresi diperoleh Fhitung = 10,61 > Ftabel = 4,20, ini membuktikan bahwa regresi berarti. Sedangkan uji linieritas regresi diperoleh Fhitung = 0,82 < Ftabel = 3,15, ini berarti model persamaan regresi yang dipakai linier. Uji koefisien korelasi product moment menghasilkan rxy = 0,524. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji signifikansi koefisien dengan menggunakan uji-t diperoleh thitung = 3,26 sedangkan ttabel =1,70, hal ini berarti thitung > ttabel. Selain itu, diperoleh uji koefisien determinasi sebesar 27,46% yang berarti bahwa variabel Kinerja Karyawan dipengaruhi sebesar 27,46% oleh variabel Konsep Diri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut di atas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara konsep diri dengan kinerja karyawan pada PT Vito Info Technology. ***** The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know the relations between self concept and job performance employee at PT Vito Info Technology South Jakarta. This research has been done for 3 months since April until June 2008. Research method using survey method with correlation approach. The population research was all of employees PT Vito Info Technology South Jakarta with total 65 persons, 35 employees for reachable populations, with 30 employees for sampling. Collecting X variable data (self concept) and Y variable data (employee job performance) were collected from key performance employees of PT Vito Info Technology. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y = 50,42 + 0,212X. After that data normality test by using liliefors formula and the result is Lcount = 0,089 in significant level 0,05 and Ltable = 0,161 So Lcount < Ltable. Mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is Fcount 10,61 > Ftable 4,20 showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, Fcount 0,82 < Ftable 3,15, showing that regression is liniear. The result of Product moment of correlations coefficient test, is rxy = 0,524 continued by using correlations coefficient signicance test with t-test. Counting result is, tcount = 3,26 while ttable = 1,70 and so, tcount > ttable. It means that there are significance and positive relations between self concept with job performance employee. Beside that, the result of determination coefficient test is 27,46%, mean that job performance employee variable determined by 27,46% the role of self concept variable. Based on result of the research, so can be concluded that have relations between the self concepts with employee job performance at PT Vito Info Technology South Jakarta.
