Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh keterlibatan orangtua dan regulasi diri terhadap perilaku bullying pada anak usia 5-6 tahun TK kelompok B di Kota Kupang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode ex post facto dengan menggunakan desain treatment by level 2x2. Penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel acak kelompok (cluster/area random sampling) untuk menentukan tempat hingga responden penelitian. Berdasarkan teknik pengambilan sampel acak kelompok kedua, terpilihlah dua kelurahan yaitu Kelurahan Oetete dan Kelurahan Fatululi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil ditemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata perilaku bullying antar anak yang memiliki keterlibatan orangtua tinggi dan anak yang memiliki keterlibatan orangtua rendah. Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata perilaku bullying antar anak yang memiliki regulasi diri tinggi dan anak yang memiliki regulasi diri rendah. Kesimpulan dari hasil paparan penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara keterlibatan orangtua dan regulasi diri terhadap perilaku bullying anak usia dini. Maka sebagai implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan antar variabel penelitian memberikan kontribusi bagi perkembangan sosial dan perkembangan diri anak di lingkungan sekitarnya. Oleh karena itu, keterlibatan orangtua yang tinggi merupakan standar tepat bagi pengaturan diri anak dalam menampilkan perilaku yang diharapkan sesuai tumbuh kembang anak. Kata kunci: keterlibatan orangtua, regulasi diri, perilaku bullying. **************** ABSTRACT The aimed of the research is to test the influence of parental involvement and self-regulation on bullying behavior in early childhood age 5-6 years old of kindergarten group B at Kupang City. The method of the research was using ex post facto method by designed treatment by level 2x2. Sampling in this study use cluster random sampling technique, two village were selected, namely Oetete and Fatululi. Data analysis technique using by the test of normality and homogenity. The results found that there were defferences in the average bullying behavior between children who had high parental involvement and children who had low parental involvement. There were also average differences of bullying behavior between children who had high self-regulation and children who had low self-regulation. The conclusion of the results of the research shows that there were significant influence between parental involvement and self-regulation on bullying behavior in early childhood age 5-6 years old. Then as the implication of the results indicated that between the research variables contribute to social development and self-development of children in the surrounding environment. Therefore, high parental involvement is an appropriate standard for children’s self-regulation in displaying the expected behavior according to the child’s growth and development.
