Abstract

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) berbantuan Dynamic Geometry Software Terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa SMP Negeri 139 Jakarta. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) berbantuan Dynamic Geometry Software terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMP Negeri 139 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu. Instrumen tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa 5 soal uraian yang telah dinyatakan valid serta reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 0,674 dan termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Populasi target pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 139 Jakarta. Populasi terjangkau penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 139 Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah two stage sampling. Pertama, dengan memilih tiga kelas yang diajar oleh guru yang sama, lalu setelah lulus uji prasyarat analisis data sebelum perlakuan, didapat tiga kelas yang memiliki kemampuan yang sama maka pengambilan sampel dapat menggunakan dua dari tiga kelas secara acak yang digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian prasyarat analisis data setelah perlakuan, kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol memiliki distribusi yang normal dan homogen. Oleh karena itu, pengujian hipotesis statistik menggunakan uji t dengan taraf signifikan α=0,05. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik, diperoleh t_hitung=3,884 dan t_tabel=1,994. Nilai t_hitung > t_tabel sehingga tolak H_0. Hasil perhitungan besar pengaruh dengan Cohen’s Effect Size memperoleh nilai 0,9 dengan presentase sebesar 82% yang termasuk ke dalam kategori besar. Maka dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan Dynamic Geometry Software memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemahmaan konsep matematis siswa. Artinya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas eksperimen yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan Dynamic Geometry Software lebih tinggi dibandingkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas kontrol yang belajar dengan model konvensional berbantuan Dynamic Geometry Software. The Effect of the SAVI Learning Model (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) Assisted by Dynamic Geometry Software on the Ability to Understand Mathematical Concepts of State Junior High School Students 139 Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Jakarta State University, 2020. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the SAVI learning model (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) assisted by Dynamic Geometry Software on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students at the State Junior High School 139 Jakarta. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. The mathematical concept comprehension ability test instrument used in this study was in the form of 5 problem descriptions that had been declared valid and the reliability of the instrument was 0.674 and included in the high category. The target population in this study were all students of Junior High School 139 in Jakarta. Affordable population of this research is all students of Class VIII Junior High School 139 in Jakarta. The sampling technique used was two stage sampling. First, by selecting three classes taught by the same teacher, then after passing the prerequisite test for data analysis before treatment, three classes that have the same ability are obtained so that sampling can use two of the three classes randomly used as the experimental class and the control class . Based on the results of prerequisite test data analysis after treatment, the experimental class and the control class have a normal and homogeneous distribution. Therefore, statistical hypothesis testing uses t-test with a significant level α = 0.05. Based on statistical calculations, obtained t_hitung=3,884 and t_tabel=1,994. Value of t_hitung > t_tabel so reject H_0. The results of the calculation of the effect size with Cohen's Effect Size obtained a value of 0.9 with a percentage of 82% which is included in the large category. It can be concluded that the SAVI learning model assisted by Dynamic Geometry Software has a significant influence on the understanding ability of students' mathematical concepts. This means that the ability to understand mathematical concepts of experimental class students who learn with SAVI learning models assisted by Dynamic Geometry Software is higher than the ability to understand mathematical concepts of control class students who study with conventional models assisted by Dynamic Geometry Software.
