Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan penanaman nilai-nilai toleransi melalui pembelajaran PPKn dan bentuk kegiatan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 102 Jakarta dengan sebelas informan siswa kelas VIII dan keyinforman dua guru PPKn. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penanaman nilai-nilai toleransi melalui pembelajaran PPKn yang diajarkan pada siswa seperti saling menghargai dan menghormati orang lain yang berbeda agama, memberi kesempatan kepada teman untuk mengutarakan pendapat, menerima pendapat kritik dan saran serta berteman tanpa membedakan agama. Melalui keteladanan guru, pembiasaan terhadap perbedaan, dan melatih heterogenitas dalam kelompok. Kegiatan yang dilakukan di sekolah untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi seperti kegiatan Jum’at religi dan kegiatan esktrakulikuler. The purpose of this study is to describe the planting of tolerance values through PPKn learning and the form of activities in instilling tolerance values. This study uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 102 East Jakarta with eleven informants from VIII grade students and key informants from two PPKn teachers. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation methods. The collected data were analyzed by reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the inculcation of tolerance values through PPKn learning taught to students such as mutual respect and respect for people of different religions, allowing friends to express their opinions, accepting critical opinions and suggestions, and making friends without distinguishing religion. Through teacher modeling, accustoming differences, and practicing heterogeneity in groups. Activities carried out in schools to instill tolerance values such as religious Friday activities and extracurricular activities.
