Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data empiris terkait pengaruh pelayanan sosial terhadap kualitas hidup lanjut usia di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 1. Kualitas hidup lanjut usia dapat diukur dengan kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan oleh panti, karena jika mereka merasa puas akan pelayanan yang telah diberikan oleh panti, maka hal ini dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup lanjut usia yang berada di panti sosial tersebut. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode ex post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Adapun sampel yang diambil berjumlah 30 responden lanjut usia. Angket digunakan untuk mendapatkan data pelayanan sosial dan kualitas hidup. Proses uji validitas hingga uji normalitas telah dilakukan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang sesuai dengan fakta. Uji normalitas adalah 0.179 yang mana berada diatas 0,05 bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Uji linieritas 0.147 > 0.05 maka ada hubungan yang linier antara variable pelayanan sosial dengan variable kualitas hidup. Nilai r hitung > r tabel (0.975>0.361) dan nilai signifikansisnya lebih kecil dari 0.05 (0.000<0.05). Hasil statistik uji product moment untuk pelayanan sosial diperoleh r hitung sebesar 0.975 dan nilai signifikansi 0.000, dengan r tabel sebesar 0.361. Dari berbagai uji yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi penolakan H0 dan penerimaan H1, yang artinya pelayanan sosial berpengaruh terhadap kualitas hidup lanjut usia di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 1 sebesar 95%, dan 5%nya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. This research aims to obtain the empirical data related to the impact of social service on quality of life for the elderly at Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 1 Senior Care. The quality of life for the elderly can be measured by the quality of service provided by the senior care, because if they are feeling satisfied with the service provided by the senior care, this can affect the elderly’s quality of life who is living in that senior care. The method of this research was used ex post facto with a quantitative approach. Samples were collected with a purposing sampling technique. As for samples, taken as amounted 30 elderly respondents. The questionnaire used to obtain the data of social services and quality of life. The validity test to normality test process was conducted to obtain the result that corresponds to the fact. The normality test is 0.179 which is above 0.05 that the data are normally distributed. The linearity test is 0.147 > 0.05 so there is a linear correlation between social service variables with the quality of life variables. The value of r calculation > r table (0.975 > 0.361) and significance is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). The statistic result of the product-moment test for social services was obtained that the r value is 0.975 and the significance value is 0.000 with r table is 0.361. From various tests conducted, it can be concluded that there is a rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1, which means social service has impact on the elderly’s quality of life in Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia Senior Care as many as 95%, and the 5% is affected from the other factors.
