Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data mengenai Efektivitas Penerapan Kurikulum 2013 dalam Pembelajaran IPS dan Strategi dalam Penerapan Kurikulum 2013 di SMP Terbuka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui teknik pengumpulan data secara observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dari penelitian ini terdiri dari informan kunci dan informan inti, dengan metode snowball sampling. Informan Kunci terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Bagian Kurikulum, dan Koordinator SMP Terbuka. Informan inti terdiri dari Guru IPS di SMP Terbuka dan beberapa siswa di SMP Terbuka. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Kurikulum 2013 di SMP Terbuka merupakan kebijakan dari sekolah induk karena memang SMP Terbuka mengikuti Sekolah Induk. SMP Terbuka memiliki perbedaan dengan SMP Reguler yaitu dari segi waktu, kondisi keluarga, ekonomi, kategori penerimaan siswa, dan kegiatan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan strategi yang baik untuk mencapai efektivitas penerapan Kurikulum 2013 tersebut. Dengan melihat situasi dan kondisi dari siswa SMP Terbuka maka sekolah induk berupaya untuk dapat memberikan pelayanan yang baik bagi siswa SMP Terbuka karena bagaimanapun memperoleh pendidikan adalah hak dari warga Negara Indonesia. ************************* This study aims to obtain data on the Effectiveness of the 2013 Curriculum Implementation in Social Studies Learning and Strategies in Implementing the 2013 Curriculum in Open Junior High Schools. The research method used with a qualitative approach through data collection techniques by observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The subjects of this study consisted of key informants and key informants, using the snowball sampling method. Key Informants consist of the Principal, Deputy Head of the Curriculum Section, and the Coordinator of the Open Middle School. The core informants consisted of social studies teachers at open junior high schools and several students at open junior high schools. The results of the study concluded that the use of the 2013 Curriculum in Open Junior High Schools was a policy of the parent school because indeed the Open Junior High Schools attended the Main Schools. Open SMP has differences with Regular SMP in terms of time, family conditions, economy, student admission categories, and learning activities. Therefore a good strategy is needed to achieve the effectiveness of implementing the 2013 Curriculum. By looking at the situation and conditions of Open Junior High School students, the main school strives to be able to provide good services for Open Junior High School students because after all obtaining education is the right of Indonesian citizens.
