Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data persepsi peserta didik terhadap gaya mengajar mahasiswa PKM program studi pendidikan sejarah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik survei. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu mendeskripsikan jawaban responden dalam bentuk pemaparan atau penjelasan disertai tabel frekuensi atau presentase. Populasi target dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIPA/IPS SMA Negeri 80 yang berjumlah 212 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian yang diambil 30% dari jumlah populasi yaitu sebanyak 62 peserta didik, 32 peserta didik dari kelas X MIPA dan 30 Peserta didik dari kelas X IPS. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket sebanyak 30 butir yang sudah diujicobakan terlebih dahulu kepada 5 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi peserta didik terhadap variasi gaya mengajar mahasiswa PKM yang meliputi aspek-aspek yang diteliti yaitu: 1) aspek variasi suara masuk dalam kategori baik dengan presentase sebesar 89% (55 responden); 2) aspek memusatkan perhatian masuk dalam kategori baik dengan presentase sebesar 76% (47 responden); 3) aspek pemberian waktu masuk dalam kategori kurang baik dengan presentase sebesar 44% (27 responden); 4) aspek kontak pandang masuk dalam kategori cukup baik dengan presentase sebesar 63% (39 responden); 5) aspek gerakan anggota badan masuk dalam kategori baik dengan presentase sebesar 85% (53 responden); 6) aspek pindah posisi masuk dalam kategori cukup baik dengan presentase sebesar 63% (39 responden). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara umum persepsi peserta didik terhadap gaya mengajar mahasiswa PKM adalah cukup baik. This research aimed to get student perceptions data toward teaching style of PKM student of Education Program History. The method used in this study was a descriptive survey technique. The data were obtained through the questionnaire distribution to respondents. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis that describes the answers of respondents in the form of exposure or explanation which accompanied by a frequency table or percentage. The population target in this study is a student class X-MIPA/IPS at SMA Negeri 80 total 212 student. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The research sample took about 30% from the total population of 62 students, 32 students from class X MIPA and 30 students from class X IPS. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire which contain 30 items that had been tested previously to 5 respondents. The results showed that students perceptions toward teaching style of PKM student covering aspects studied were: 1) aspects of sound variation in the category of good with the percentage of 89% (55 respondents); 2) aspects of focusing in the category of good with the percentage of 76% (47 respondents); 3) aspects of providing time in the category of less well with the percentage of 44% (27 respondents); 4) aspects of visual contact in the category of quite good with the percentage of 63% (39 respondents); 5) aspects of body movements in the category of good with the percentage of 85% (53 respondents); 6) aspects of moving positions in the category of quite good with the percentage of 63% (39 respondents). Thus it can be concluded that in general students perceptions of PKM students teaching styles are quite good.
