Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh deskripsi yang jelas mengenai Unsur – Unsur Intrinsik Dalam Novel “Wa Nasītu Annī Imraah” (aku lupa bahwa aku perempuan) Karya Ihsan Abdul Quddus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menganalisis unsur – unsur intrinsik dalam Novel “Wa Nasītu Annī Imraah” (aku lupa bahwa aku perempuan) Karya Ihsan Abdul Quddus. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri yang dibantu dengan tabel spesifikasi. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa unsur – unsur intrinsik dalam novel “Wa Nasītu Annī Imraah” (aku lupa bahwa aku seorang perempuan) Karya Ihsan Abdul Qudūs memiliki 6 unsur yang membangun novel ini yaitu (1) Tema (2) Tokoh (3) Latar (4) Alur (5) Sudut Pandang dan (6) Gaya Bahasa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah analisis dari unsur-unsur intrinsik yang terdapat pada novel “Wa Nasītu Annī Imraah” (aku lupa bahwa aku perempuan) Karya Ihsan Abdul Quddus. Peneliti menemukan tema dalam cerita ini sebanyak 3 temuan, yaitu: ambisi, cinta dan profesi. Ambisi terdapat 4 temuan, cinta terdapat 5 temuan, dan karier terdapat 3 temuan. Peneliti menemukan tokoh dalam cerita ini dibagi menjadi dua bagian, tokoh utama dan tokoh pendukung. Tokoh utama dalam cerita ini terdapat satu orang yaitu Suad. Suad adalah seorang wanita yang ambisius dan egois dalam seluruh hidupnya. Adapun tokoh pendukung terdapat 5 orang yaitu: Abdel Hamid, Faiza, Adil, Dr. Kamal dan Samira. Peneliti menemukan latar tempat dalam cerita ini sebanyak 4 temuan yaitu Mesir, Alexandria, rumah ibunya Suad, dan rumah Dr. Kamal. Sedangkan peneliti menemukan latar waktu dalam 3 temuan: pagi, sore dan malam. Alur yang digunakan dalam novel ini terdiri dari dua jenis, yaitu alur maju dan alur flashback / mundur. Peneliti menemukan alur dalam cerita ini dengan plot lurus, tetapi di tengah-tengah cerita, terdapat kalimat yang merujuk pada plot mundur Sudut pandang dalam novel ini adalah orang ketiga, yaitu penulis tidak muncul dalam cerita, tetapi ia mengetahui peristiwa-peristiwa secara utuh sehingga ia dapat menceritakan peristiwa-peristiwa terjadi. Peneliti menemukan 3 temuan yang menggambarkan sudut pandang orang ketiga dalam novel ini. Secara keseluruhan, novel ini disajikan dalam bentuk narasi, tetapi di tengah-tengah cerita, penulis menyajikan cerita dalam bentuk dialog. ABSTRACT The purpose done to obtain a clear description of the Intrinsic Elements in the Novel "Wa Nasītu Annī Imraah" (I forgot that I am a woman) by Ihsan Abdul Quddus. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by analyzing the intrinsic elements in the novel "Wa Nasītu Annī Imraah" (I forgot that I am a woman) by Ihsan Abdul Quddus. The research instrument was the researcher himself who was assisted with a specification table. From the results of the research, it can be seen that the intrinsic elements in the novel "Wa Nasītu Annī Imraah" (I forgot that I am a woman) The work of Ihsan Abdul Qudus has 6 elements that build this novel, namely (1) Title (2) Figure (3) Setting (4) Plot (5) Perspective and (6) Language Style. The result of this research is an analysis of the intrinsic elements contained in the novel "Wa Nasītu Annī Imraah" (I forgot that I am a woman) by Ihsan Abdul Quddus. Researchers found the themes in this story as many as 3 findings, namely: ambition, love and profession. Ambition has 4 findings, love has 5 findings, and career has 3 findings. The researcher found that the characters in this story were divided into two parts, the main character and the supporting character. The main character in this story is one person, Suad. Suad is a woman who is ambitious and selfish in her whole life. There are 5 supporting figures, namely: Abdul Hamid, Faiza, Adil, Dr. Kamal and Samira. Researchers found the background of the place in this story as many as 4 findings, namely Egypt, Alexandria, Suad's mother's house, and Dr. Kamal. Whereas researchers found time settings in 3 findings: morning, evening and night. The flow used in this novel consists of two types, namely the forward flow and the flashback / backward flow. Researchers found the plot in this story to be a straight plot, but in the middle of the story, there is a sentence that refers to the backward plot The point of view in this novel is in the third person, that is, the writer does not appear in the story, but he knows the events in their entirety so that he can tell the events that happened. The researcher found 3 findings that illustrate the third person's point of view in this novel. Overall, this novel is presented in a narrative form, but in the middle of the story, the writer presents the story in the form of a dialogue.
