Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh board independence, ownership concentration, managerial ownership terhadap diversifikasi pada sektor manufaktur Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2015-2019. Variabel bebas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah board independence, ownership concentration dan managerial ownership. Variabel terikat yang digunakan adalah diversifikasi yang menggunakan proksi entropy index. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan analisis analisis regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ownership concentration berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap diversifikasi, sedangkan board independence dan managerial ownership tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap diversifikasi. ************************** This study aims to determine the effect of board independence, ownership concentration, and managerial ownership on diversification in the manufacturing sector of the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2019 period. The independent variable used in this study are; board independence, ownership concentration, and managerial ownership. The dependent variable used in this study is diversification, which uses entropy index. The data used in this study uses purposive sampling with panel data regression analysis. The results showed that ownership concentration had a significant positive effect on diversification, while board independence and managerial ownership had no effect on diversification.
