Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi yang diterapkan dalam pengembangan di Kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Pantai Indah Kapuk secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis SWOT. Teknik analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi perencanaan dapat ditentukan oleh kombinasi faktor internal dan eksternal, kedua faktor tersebut seyogyanya dipertimbangkan dalam analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang seyogyanya diterapkan adalah mengoptimalkan kinerja pengelola dengan cara melibatkan seluruh elemen, yaitu lembaga pemerintahan, asosiasi kepariwisataan, organisasi atau komunitas, serta lapisan masyarakat dalam melakukan kegiatan konservasi mangrove di Kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Pantai Indah Kapuk. Sehingga kelompok tani hutan yang bernama Kelompok Usaha Tani "Flora Mangrove" yang dibina oleh Dinas Kehutanan dapat mengoptimalkan hasil olahan mangrove sebagai salah satu ekonomi kreatif yang ada di DKI Jakarta seperti pembuatan sirup dan dodol yang menjadi ciri khas dari budaya Betawi. Hal ini juga dapat menjadi ciri khas dari upaya pengembangan yang dilakukan oleh Kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Pantai Indah Kapuk, yang dapat membedakan dengan wisata sejenis. The purpose of this research is how to find strategy that implemented in development at Mangrove Ecotourism Centre Pantai Indah Kapuk as sustainable tourism. This research using qualitative method, data collection used through in-depth interview, observation and study documentation. Data analysis technique is used SWOT analysis. Analysis technique shows that planning strategy can be determined by the combination of internal and external factors, those two factors should be considered in SWOT. The result showed the strategy that should be applied is optimize human resources performance by involving all elements, like government institutions, tourism association, organization or community, and society participation In held mangrove conservation at Mangrove Ecotourism Centre Pantai Indah Kapuk. With the result that forest farmer groups named “Flora Mangrove” who were fostered by Forestry Service can optimize mangrove products as one of the creative economy in the Capital City of Indonesia, Jakarta like syrup and dodol food which is characteristic of Betawi culture. This also become identity of efforts in development conducted by Mangrove Ecotourism Centre Pantai Indah Kapuk, to distinguish by a kind of tourism.
