Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh forgiveness terhadap kepuasan hidup guru dengan gratitude sebagai variabel mediasi pada guru SMK swasta Se-Kecamatan Tangerang. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama lima bulan terhitung mulai bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan Mei 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei pendekatan koresional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMK swasta di Kecamatan Tangerang tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang terdiri dari 510 guru dan sampel 205 responden, dengan menggunakan teknik proportionate random sampling. Data variabel X (Forgiveness), variabel Y (Kepuasan Hidup), dan variabel Z (Gratitude), untuk ketiga variabel tersebut menggunakan data primer. Teknis analisis data menggunakan program SmartPLS 3.0. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan uji deteksi pengaruh variabel intervening melalui sobel test. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwasannya forgiveness berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan hidup guru dengan gratitude sebagai variabel mediasi diantar keduanya. Nilai sampel pengaruh tiga variabel ini adalah 0.230 dan t-statistik > 1.96 yaitu 4.192. Selanjutnya berdasarkan nilai p-values 0.000 < 0.05 maka variabel forgiveness berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan hidup dengan gratitude sebagai variabel mediasi, berpengaruh signifikan secara tidak langsung. Hasil perhitungan sobel test mendapat nilai sebesar 4.757 nilai tersebut > 1.96, hal ini membuktikan bahwa gratitude mampu memedasi pengaruh forgiveness terhadap kepuasan hidup guru. Kata Kunci: Forgiveness, Kepuasan Hidup, Gratitude   This study aims to determine the effect of forgiveness on teacher life satisfaction in mediation by gratitude at vocational high school teachers in Tangerang District. This research was conducted for five months starting from January to May 2020. The research is survey with correlation approach. The population affordability is all vocational high school teachers in Tangerang District in the academic year 2019/2020 consisting of 510 teachers and sample of 205 respondent, using proportionate random sampling techniques. Data variable X (Forgiveness), Y variable (Life Satisfaction), and variable M (Gratitude), is use primary data. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0 program. In this study, a detection test of the effect of intervening variables was done through the multiple test. The results showed that forgiveness affects the life satisfaction of teachers with gratitude as a mediation variable between them. The original sample value of the influence of these three variables is 0.230 and t-statistics> 1.96 is 4.192. Furthermore, based on a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, the forgiveness variable influences life satisfaction with gratitude as mediation, which has a significant indirect effect. The sobel test results got a value of 4.757, the values > 1.96, this proves that gratitude is able to mediate the effect of forgiveness on teacher life satisfaction.
