Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesenjangan antara performansi implementasi program teaching factory di SMK Negeri Jakarta Selatan dengan standar yang telah ditentukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian evaluatif, menggunakan model evaluasi kesenjangan dengan empat tahap yang telah dimodifikasi sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian, yaitu desain, instalasi, proses, dan produk atau hasil. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa: 1) Perumusan program teaching factory telah didefinisikan dengan baik yang mencakup aspek urgensi, memiliki tujuan dan sasaran yang jelas, serta ukuran keberhasilan. 2) Program teaching factory telah dirancang dengan cukup baik, meliputi pedoman pelaksanaan, sumber daya manusia, dan bengkel/lab. 3) Pelaksanaan teaching factory sudah dilakukan dengan baik yang mencakup pembelajaran, kegiatan praktik, pemasaran dan promosi, manajemen, hubungan industri, pengawasan dan evaluasi. 4) Capaian atau produk dari program teaching factory, yaitu memberikan hasil positif berupa terciptanya budaya industri yang mampu meningkatkan kompetensi produktif dan menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa, serta menghasilkan produk/jasa yang memiliki nilai tambah dengan kualitas yang dapat diserap dan diterima oleh masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Teaching Factory, SMK, Model Evaluasi Kesenjangan This study aims to determine the discrepancy between the performance of implementation of teaching factory program in SMK Negeri South Jakarta with standards. The method used in this research was The Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM) with four stages that have been modified in accordance with the research objectives, namely design, installation, process, and product or results. The process of collecting data is done by using observation, interview, and documentation study. The results showed: 1) The teaching factory program formulation has been well defined that includes aspects of urgency, has clear goals and objectives, and measures of success. 2) The teaching factory program has been quite well designed, including implementation guidelines, human resources, and labs. 3) The teaching factory has been implemented well which includes learning, practical activities, marketing and promotion, management, industrial relations, monitoring and evaluation. 4) The products of the teaching factory program, which provides positive results in the form of the creation of an industrial culture that is able to increase productive competence and foster entrepreneurial spirit of students, and produce products/services that have added value with quality that can be absorbed and accepted by the community.
