Abstract

MANAJEMEN SEKOLAH INDONESIA LUAR NEGERI (STUDI KASUS DI SEKOLAH INDONESIA KUALA LUMPUR) LENI PUJIASTUTI ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi pengelolaan Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur secara rinci dan menyeluruh dari subyek penelitian pada latar belakang penelitian dengan karakteristik yang ada. Kasus dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan manajemen bidang pendidikan yang meliputi manajemen kurikulum, manajemen kesiswaan (peserta didik), manajemen personel/anggtota, manajemen keuangan, dan manajemen hubungan sekolah dengan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis dengan rancangan studi kasus di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur berlokasi di No 1, Lorong Tun Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia yang terdiri dari : TK, SD, SMP, dan SMA. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulaan data dengan triangulasi, analisis data bersifat induktif, dan hasil penelitian kualitatif lebih menekankan makna daripada generalisasi”. Berdasarkan analisis data ditemukan bahwa faktor pendukungnya adalah Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur sudah menjalankan dan memberikan peran dengan baik dalam pelaksaan fungsi diplomasi budaya di negara Malaysia dan mananajemen Keuangan Sekolah sudah berjalan dengan baik Adapun faktor penghambatnya adalah pelaksanaan manajemen kurikulum, yaitu terdapat kekosongan guru mata pelajaran tertentu pada saat guru-guru yang sudah habis masa kontraknya dan harus kembali ke Indonesia sedangkan guru pengganti belum datang. Pada manajemen kesiswaan terdapat masalah visa tinggal, guru mengajar tidak sesuai dengan background pendidikan berakibat pada kompetensi profesionalitas. Keywords : manajemen sekolah, kurikulum, kesiswaan, tenaga pendidik INDONESIAN SCHOOL MANAGEMENT OVERSEAS (CASE STUDY IN INDONESIA KUALA LUMPUR SCHOOL) LENI PUJIASTUTI ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of the management of the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School in detail and thoroughly from the research subjects on the background of the study with existing characteristics. The case in this study is the application of management in the field of education which includes curriculum management, student management (students), personnel/member management, financial management, and management of school relations with the community. This research uses a phenomenological qualitative approach with a case study design at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesia School located at No. 1, Lorong Tun Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which consists of kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and high school. Data collection techniques are through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection techniques with triangulation, data analysis is inductive, and the results of qualitative research emphasize meaning rather than generalization. Based on the analysis of the data it was found that the supporting factors were that the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School was already running and giving a good role in the implementation of the cultural diplomacy function in Malaysia and the School Financial Management was running well. When teachers whose contracts have expired and must return to Indonesia while substitute teachers have not yet arrived. In student management there is a problem of residence visas, teaching teachers not in accordance with the educational background result in professional competence.
