Abstract

Orang tua memiliki tanggung jawab dalam mengembangkan potensi anak-anaknya. Sebab, dewasa ini banyak anak yang berkembang tidak sesuai dengan fitrahnya dikarenakan kondisi lingkungan yang tak mendukung anak untuk merawat dan menumbuhkan fitrahnya. Maka menjadi penting bagi orang tua untuk mendidik anak sesuai dengan fitrah yang ada dalam dirinya. Oleh karenanya, upaya pengembangan potensi dilakukan para orang tua semaksimal mungkin dilakukan, yakni dengan melibatkan komunitas parenting Islam yang berfokus pada hal tersebut, salah satunya HEbAT Community Bojonggede. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pengembangan potensi anak, potensi tersebut meliputi potensi berpikir, emosi, sosial, dan spiritual. Di mana pengembangan potensi dilakukan melalui pendidikan anak berbasis fitrah atau potensi kebaikan yang diberikan langsung oleh Allah pada diri-diri manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, di mana di dalamnya dikemukakan tentang upaya keluarga di HEbAT Community Bojonggede-Bogor dalam mengembangkan potensi anak-anak melalui program-program di komunitas. Kemudian tentang peran orang tua HEbAT Community Bojonggede-Bogor dalam pelaksanaan pengembangan potensi anak melalui pendidikan anak berbasis fitrah. Penulis menemukan kesesuaian pendidikan anak berbasis fitrah dengan pelaksanaan program-program di HEbAT Community Bojonggede-Bogor, adanya upaya keluarga dalam mengembangkan potensi anak melalui program-program di HEbAT Community Bojonggede-Bogor, dan pelaksanaan pengembangan potensi anak yang juga dilakukan oleh orang tua di rumah dengan beragam aktivitas kegiatan. Maka orang tua telah berperan sebagai fasilitator, motivator, dan inisiator dalam proses dalam mengembangkan potensi anak-anaknya melalui pendidikan anak berbasis fitrah dengan pendidikan rumahan. Parents have a responsibility in developing the potential of their children. Because, nowadays many children develop not in accordance with their nature due to environmental conditions that do not support children to care for and grow their nature. So it becomes important for parents to educate children according to the nature that is in them. Therefore, efforts to develop the potential are carried out by parents as much as possible, namely by involving Islamic parenting communities that focus on this, one of which is HEbAT Community Bojonggede. This research is focused on developing children's potential, where this potential includes thinking, emotional, social, and spiritual potential. Where the development of this potential is carried out through child education based on fitrah or potential goodness given directly by God to human beings. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study, in which it is stated about the efforts of the Bojonggede-Bogor HEbAT Community in developing the potential of its members' children through fitrah-based children's education. Then about the role of the HEbAT Community Bojonggede-Bogor parents in developing children's potential through fitrah-based children's education. The author found the suitability of fitrah-based children's education with the implementation of programs in the Bojonggede-Bogor HEbAT Community, the existence of family efforts in developing children's potential through programs in the Bojonggede-Bogor HEbAT Community, and the implementation of children's potential development was also carried out by parents at home with various activities activities. So parents have played a role as facilitators, motivators, and initiators in the process of child education based on nature in developing the potential of their children through home education.
