Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan mendeklamasikan puisi melalui model pembelajaran Somatis, Auditori, Visual, dan Intelektual pada siswa kelas 4 Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Kejiwan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga instrumen penelitian yaitu kinerja guru, data peningkatan tes keterampilan siswa melalui instrumen tes, dan data hasil instrumen angket berupa respon siswa. Pada pra penelitian, tes mendeklamasikan puisi mendapatkan 68,03%. Pada siklus I, setelah menerapkan model somatis, auditori, visual, dan intelektual terjadi peningkatan rata-rata nilai tes mendeklamasikan puisi yaitu 77,58%, siklus II menjadi 88,03%. Kinerja guru dalam menerapkan model somatis, auditori, visual, dan intelektual selama 5 pertemuan pada siklus I mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 92,74% (sangat baik), siklus II meningkat dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 100%. Respon siswa pada siklus I mendapatkan respon baik dengan nilai 86,97%, dan siklus II respon siswa meningkat menjadi 94,27% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran somatis, auditori, visual, dan intelektual dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mendeklamasikan puisi siswa kelas 4 Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Kejiwan. Kata kunci : mendeklamasikan puisi, savi, model pembelajaran This study aims to find out the improvement in the ability to recite poetry through the Somatic, Audiotory, Visual and Intelectualy learning model for fourth grade students of 2 Kejiwan Public Elementary School. This study uses a classroom action research method. This study uses three research instruments, namely teacher performance, data on increasing student skills tests through test instruments, and questionnaire instrument data in the form of student responses. In pre-research, the test of reciting poetry got 68.03%. In the first cycle, after applying somatic, auditory, visual, and intellectual learning model, there was an increase in the average value of the tests recite poetry is 77.58%, the second cycle became 88.03%. Teacher performance in applying somatic, auditory, visual, and intellectual learning model for 5 meetings in the first cycle got an average value of 92.74% (very good), the second cycle increased with an average score of 100%. Student responses in the first cycle got a good response with a value of 86.97%, and the second cycle student responses increased to 94.27% with very good criteria. Thus it can be concluded that the somatic, auditory, visual, and intellectual learning model can improved the skills of reciting poetry for fourth grade students at 2 Kejiwan Public Elementary School.
