Abstract

Transendental merupakan hal – hal yang sukar dipahami, bersifat gaib dan abstrak. Pengalaman transendental tidak semua dapat merasakan dan mengalami kejadian dengan makhluk astral. Ketakutan atas pengalaman transendental merupakan hal yang dialami oleh perupa. Pengalaman yang perupa alami merupakan melihat, diganggu oleh makhluk astral. Karya tugas akhir yang berjudul Selamat Jalan, ini menerapkan metode pendekatan narasi simbolik dalam menyajikan perspektif baru terkait pengalaman transendental. Perupa membuat proses kreatif melalui dengan membuat jurnal cerita mengenai pengalaman – pengalaman yang telah dialami perupa. Dengan pendekatan seni kontemporer diimplementasikan pada karya instalasi yang menghadirkan objek estetik dengan karya lukis arang. Karya ini sebuah refleksi bagi perupa dengan mensublimasikan melalui karya seni rupa atas ketakutan terhadap pengalaman transendental. Karya yang dibuat ini juga merupakan bentuk keberanian dalam ketakutan perupa terhadap komentar orang lain yang tidak percaya akan hal “gaib” atau “mahkluk astral”. Sublimasi karya ini dituangkan ke dalam karya seni instalasi. Transcendental is incomprehensible t\matter that regarded as mystical and abstract. Not everyone able to have transcendental experience and experice events with astral beings. The fear of transcendental experience is something that i experienced. My experiences is seeing and being interrupted by an astral beings. The final project – entitled “goodbye”, this applies a symbolic narrative approach in presenting a new perspective regreding trancendental experience. I conduct a creative process through keeping a story journal of experiences i had experienced. Using contemporary art approach, i implemented this experience in installation works that created, Constructing sensory experience using charcoal paintings as main objects in my installation. Foe me, this work is a reflection by subjecting myself through works of fine art over a fear of transcendental experience. It is also a form of express courage in the fear of forgetting the comments of others who do not believe in “mystical” or “astral being”. The Sublimation of this experience is poured into the installation artwork.
