Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tindakan sosial berziarah kubur masyarakat kota dalam melakukan ziarah kubur pada Makam Habib Abdullah bin Mukhsin Al-Atas dengan melihat aspek historis, pemaknaan tindakan berziarah serta tindakan yang dilakukan oleh peziarah. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan rasionalitas para peziarah dalam melakukan, tindakan berziarah kubur pada Makam Habib Abdullah bin Mukhsin Al-Atas, Kelurahan Empang, Kecamatan Bogor Selatan, Kota Bogor, Jawa Barat, penelitian ini dikaji dengan menggunakan teori rasionalitas Max Weber, dalam sudut pandang sosiologi agama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus, dengan kasus yang dikaji adalah peziarah pada Makam Habib Abdullah bin Mukhsin Al-Atas, Kelurahan Empang, Kecamatan Bogor Selatan, Kota Bogor. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua orang penjaga makam dan Masjid Noer Alatas yang merupakan satu bagian dari komplek Makam Habib Abdullah bin Mukhsin Al-Atas. Empat orang pihak keluarga atau Keturunan Habib Abdullah bin Mukhsin Al-Atas yang mengelola makam dan pemuka agama pada Masjid Noer Alatas dan empat belas peziarah. Dalam pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam pada informan serta dengan data sekunder seperti literatur, yakni buku, jurnal dan sumber informasi pada web internet, serta data BPS Bogor Selatan. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah secara historis praktik ziarah kubur yang ada, dipengaruhi oleh ajaran agama Islam dan dilanggengkan melalui agen yakni Habib Abdullah bin Mukhsin Al-Atas melalui dakwahnya. Sepeninggal beliau, praktik ziarah kubur itu sendiri, diteruskan oleh keturunan beliau dengan berziarah pada makam beliau, sampai saat ini. Selepas beliau meninggal makam beliau dikeramatkan oleh masyarakat. Masyarakat yang melakukan ziarah dipengaruhi oleh konteks sosial dan lingkungan yang mereka miliki, kelas sosial mereka juga berbeda. Weber membagi kategori sosial keagamaan menjadi tiga; privilege classes, the middle and lower classes, serta the lowest classes. Karena perbedaan latar belakang, mereka memiliki sikap-sikap yang berbeda terhadap agama, sesuai dengan kelas-kelas sosialnya. Hal tersebut terlihat dari hal yang melatarbelakangi dan pemaknaan para peziarah terhadap tindakan ziarah kubur, para peziarah tersebut memiliki pemaknaan yang berbeda-beda pada tindakan ziarah kubur yang mereka lakukan. Proses rasionalisasi peziarah pada tindakan ziarah kubur dipengaruhi pula oleh hal-hal tersebut. This study aims to describe the social actions of the pilgrimage of the urban community in undertaking a pilgrimage on the Tomb of Habib Abdullah bin Mukhsin Al-Atas by looking at historical aspects, the meaning of pilgrimage actions and actions taken by pilgrims. In addition, this study also aims to describe the rationality of pilgrims in performing, grave pilgrimage actions at the Tomb of Habib Abdullah bin Mukhsin Al-Atas, Empang Village, South Bogor District, Bogor City, West Java, this study was examined using Max Weber's rationality theory , from the standpoint of the sociology of religion. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study research, with the case being examined as pilgrims at the Tomb of Habib Abdullah bin Mukhsin Al-Atas, Empang Village, South Bogor District, Bogor City. The subjects in this study consisted of two tomb guards and the Noer Alatas Mosque which is a part of the Tomb of the Habib Abdullah bin Mukhsin Al-Atas. Four people from the family of Habib Abdullah bin Mukhsin Al-Atas who managed the tombs and religious leaders at Noer Alatas Mosque and fourteen pilgrims. The data collection is done by in-depth interviews with informants as well as with secondary data such as literature, namely books, journals and sources of information on the internet web, as well as South Bogor BPS data. The results obtained are historically the practice of the existing grave pilgrimage, influenced by Islamic teachings and perpetuated through agents namely Habib Abdullah bin Mukhsin Al-Atas through his da'wah. After his death, the practice of the grave pilgrimage itself, continued by his descendants with pilgrimage to his tomb, until now. After he died his tomb was saved by the community. People who make pilgrimage are influenced by the social and environmental context that they have, their social class is also different. Weber divides the socio-religious category into three; privilege classes, the middle and lower classes, and the lowest classes. Because of different backgrounds, they have different attitudes towards religion, according to their social classes. This can be seen from the background and the meaning of pilgrims to the pilgrimage. The pilgrims have different meanings on the pilgrimage pilgrimage they do. The process of rationalizing pilgrims to the pilgrimage pilgrimage is also influenced by these things.
