Abstract

ABSTRAK Dwi Putri Aprilia, PERGESERAN MAKNA TRADISI HAJAT BUMI KRAMAT GANCENG PADA MASYARAKAT PONDOK RANGGON, KECAMATAN CIPAYUNG, JAKARTA TIMUR). Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pergeseran makna tradisi Hajat Bumi Kramat Ganceng di Pondok Ranggon, Jakarta Timur. Hajat Bumi ini melekat pada masyarakat agraris di wilayah pedasaan Jawa. Uniknya, budaya tersebut tampil pada masyarakat kota Jakarta yang khas dengan masyarakat industry dengan budaya modern, rasionalistis, individualis, dan matrealistis. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan guna menggali budaya lokal yang dimiliki masyarakat Jakarta dalam rangka mengetahui pergeseran yang terjadi didalamnya, walaupun terjadi pergeseran namun tradisi tersebut masih bisa bertahan sampai saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Pondok Ranggon yang terdiri dari Ahliwaris budaya dan keluarganya, tokoh masyarakat, panitia acara, dan karang taruna. Lokasi penelitian di Pondok Ranggon. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan (1) Makna Tradisi Hajat Bumi Kramat ganceng atau selamatan kampug saat ini bukan hanya sebagai ucapan rasa syukur terhadap hasil bumi yang diperoleh melainkan sebatas hiburan semata yang bisa membuat masyarakat gembira akan adanya tradisi tersebut dan tidak sedikit masyarakat yang tidak tau apa makna dari tradisi tersebut (2) Pergeseran makna Tradisi Hajat Bumi Kramat ganceng dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal pergeseran makna yang pertama disebabkan oleh bertambah atau berkurangnya penduduk, munculnya ide-ide baru dari masyarakat, perbedaan cara pandang. Faktor eksternalnya yang pertama adalah perubahan lingkungan fisik, perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. (3) Faktor yang menyebabkan orang masih melakukan tradisi yaitu untuk melestarikan budaya leluhur yaitu, untuk melestarikan budaya leluhur, menjalin silaturahmi agar tetap terjaga, dan mempererat solidariras masyarakat Pondok Ranggon. ABSTRACT Dwi Putri Aprilia, A SHIFT IN THE MEANING OF THE HAJAT BUMI KRAMAT GANCENG TRADISION IN THE PONDOK RANGGON COMMUNITY, CIPAYUNG DISTRICTS, EAST JAKARTA). Thesis, Social Science Education Study Program, Faculty Of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University, 2021. This study aims to describe the shift in the meaning of the traditional Hajat Bumi Kramat Ganceng in Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta. Hajat Bumi is attached to the agrarian society in the rural areas of Java. Uniquely, this culture appears in a typical Jakarta city society with an industrial society with modern, rationalistic, individualistic, and materialistic cultures. This research is important to do in order to explore the local culture owned by the people of Jakarta in order to find out the shifts that occur in it even though there is a shift, but these traditions masıh can last until now. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects of this study were the Pondok Ranggon community consisting of cultural experts and their families, community leaders, event committee, and youth organizations. Research location in Pondok Ranggon. Data collection techniques use primary data and secondary data. The results of this study conclude (1) The meaning of the Hajat Bumi Kramat Ganceng tradition or village salvation today is not only a thanksgiving for the produce obtained but merely entertainment that can make people happy with the tradition. and not a few people do not know what the meaning of this tradition is (2) The shift in the meaning of the Hajat Bumi Kramat Tradition ganceng is influenced by internal and external factors. The first internal factor of meaning shift is caused by increasing or decreasing population. the emergence of new ideas from society, different perspectives. The first external factors are changes in the physical environment, the development of science and technology. (3) The factors that cause people to still practice the yvaitu tradition to preserve their ancestral culture, namely, to preserve their ancestral culture, to maintain friendship to keep it awake, and to strengthen the solidarity of the Pondok Ranggon community. Keywords: the shift in meaning, the tradision of Hajat Bumi Kramat Ganceng.
