Abstract
Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu tingkat kompetensi yang harus dimiliki siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan abad 21. Hasil belajar kognitif terdiri dari enam kategori yakni pengetahuan atau ingatan, pemahaman, aplikasi, analisis, sintesis dan evaluasi. Kemampuan berpikir kritis diduga memberikan kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar kognitif tingkat tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi Sistem Sirkulasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Januari-Februari 2021 di SMA Negeri 1 Cibinong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif korelasional. Sampel diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan tes hasil belajar kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koefisien korelasi antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan hasil belajar kognitif siswa sebesar 0,954 dengan model regresi Ŷ= 1,025 + 1,195X. Kemampuan berpikir kritis memberikan kontribusi sebesar 91% terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi Sistem Sirkulasi. Critical thinking is one of must have ability for students to face the challenge of 21st century. Cognitive learning outcomes consist of six category: knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. Critical thinking ability was presumed giving contribution to higher order cognitive learning outcomes. This study aimed to determine the correlation between students’ critical thinking ability with cognitive learning outcomes in Circulatory System lesson. This study was conducted in January-February, 2021 at SMA Negeri 1 Cibinong. The method used was descriptive correlational study. Samples were taken through simple random sampling. The data was taken by using critical thinking multiple choice test and a multiple choice test of cognitive learning outocomes. The result of correlation coefficient between students’ critical thinking ability and cognitive learning outcomes was 0.954 in the regression model equation Ŷ = 1,025 + 1,195X. Critical thinking ability gave contribution 91% to students’ cognitive learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study there was positive correlation between students’ critical thinking ability with cognitive learning outcomes in Circulatory System lesson.
