Abstract

Skripsi ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana strategi perjuangan Partai Murba dalam perpolitikan di Indonesia dari pasca Proklamasi hingga menjelang akhir Demokrasi Terpimpin, serta dinamika Partai Murba dalam perpolitikan di Indonesia tahun 1948 sampai 1965. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah metode sejarah, yaitu terdiri dari pengumpulan sumber (heuristik), kritiksumber (verifikasi), interpretasi, dan historiografi. Tahapan dalam pengumpulan sumber, penulis mengumpulkan sumber penulisan baik dari sumber primer maupun sekunder yang relevan dengan tema penulisan. Setelah data terkumpul, data tersebut di verrifikasi secara kritik intern dan ekstern. Selanjutnya adalah interpretasi fakta dengan tujuan menafsirkan berbagai sumber yang telah diuji keakuratannya. Hingga pada tahapan terakhir dilakukan penulisan dalam bentuk skripsi. Penelitian ini disajikan penulis secaradeskriptif-naratif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Partai Murba adalah sebuah partai kader yang mulai berdiri pada tahun 1948, dengan seorang yang sangat berpengaruh dalam partai yaitu Tan Malaka. Sejak awal pembentukan partai, Partai Murba memposisikan diri sebagai oposisi dari pemerintahan. Perkembangan demi perkembangan ditunjukkan dengan konsistensi dalam memegang teguh haluan sebagai partai kader. Memasuki Demokrasi Terpimpin, Partai Murba sempat bertransformasi menjadi partai massa karena adanya tuntutan secara kuantitas dari pemerintah. Rivalitas yang sudah terbentuk lama dalam perebutan pengaruh antara Partai Murba dan PKI, yang menyebabkan Partai Murba harus menelan pil pahit akibat propaganda yang dilakukan PKI ketika Partai Murba sedang berada di dalam BPS. ************* This bachelor thesis examine show the Murba Party's struggle strategy in politics in Indonesia from post-Proclamation to the end of Guided Democracy, as well as the dynamics of the Murba Party in politics in Indonesia from 1948 to 1965. The research method used in this study is historical method, which consists of collecting source (heuristics), source criticism (verification), interpretation, and historiography. The stages in collecting sources, the author collects writing sources from both primary and secondary sources relevant to the writing theme. After the data collected, the data verified by internal and external criticism. Next is the interpretation of facts with the purpose of interpreting various sources that have beentested for accuracy. Until the last stage, writing is done in the form of a bachelor thesis. This research is presented by the author in a descriptive-narrative.The results of this study indicate that the Murba Party is a cadre party that was founded in 1948, with a very influential person in theparty, namely Tan Malaka. Since the beginning of the party's formation, the Murba Party has positioned it self in opposition to the government. Development after development is shown by consistency in upholding its direction as a cadre party. Entering Guided Democracy, the Murba Party was transformed into a mass-party because of the quantity demands from the government. The long-standing rivalry in the struggle for influence between the Murba Party and the PKI, which caused the Murba Party have to swallow a ‘bitter pill’ due to the propaganda carried out by the PKI when the Murba Party was at BPS.
