Abstract
Pendidikan karakter merupakan program nasional di Indonesia dimulai tahun 2010 berpayung hukum pada Instruksi Presiden Nomor 1 tahun 2010. Fokus pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter dikhususkan pada nilai religius, cinta tanah air, dan peduli lingkungan. Evaluasi program menggunakan Model CIPP yaitu: konteks, input, proses, dan produk. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa di SD Tangerang Selatan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles-Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, tampilan data, dan verifikasi data. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Strategi Inovatif Program Pendidikan Karakter yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil evaluasi secara umum terkait aspek konteks, input, proses dan produk dari pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter di SD Tangerang Selatan yang dikategorikan cukup. Dalam hal ini, masih dibutuhkan pengembangan prosedur pelaksanaan yang memiliki standar sama selain pelaksanaan yang lebih konsisten. Untuk itu, diperlukan kajian pengembangan lebih lanjut, khususnya untuk standarisasi metode, pembinaan, dan pengawasan yang efektif dan konsisten terkait penelitian ini. Character education is a national program in Indonesia started in 2010 based on the law on Presidential Instruction No. 1 of 2010. The focus of the implementation of character education programs is devoted to religious values, love of the country, and care for the environment. Program evaluation using CIPP Model is: context, input, process, and product. The method used is qualitative approach with descriptive type. The subjects of this study were principals, teachers, and students at Tangerang Selatan Primary Schools. Data analysis is done using Miles-Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of this study show the Innovative Strategy of Character Education Program obtained based on the results of general evaluation related to aspects of context, input, process and product of the implementation of character education program at Tangerang Selatan Primary Schools that are categorized as sufficient. In this case, it is still necessary to develop implementation procedures that have the same standards in addition to more consistent implementation. Therefore, further development studies are needed, especially for the standardization of effective and consistent methods, coaching, and supervision related to this research.
