Abstract
The objective of this research was to understand the effect of career development and intrinsic motivation on job satisfaction. It was a quantitative research in eight schools located in Kuningan Regency, West Java. The research used a survey method with path analysis applied in testing hyphotesis. It was conducted to 116 teachers as the respondents which were selected in a simple random way. The result of this study are: (1). There is a positive direct effect of career development on job satisfaction.(2). There is a positive direct effect of intrinsic motivation on job satisfaction, and (3). There is a positive direct effect of career development on intrinsic motivation
