Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menghasilkan produk Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dengan model pendekatan learning cycle atau siklus belajar type lima tahap (engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, dan evaluation) pada muatan pelajaran IPS tema benda-benda disekitar kita di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D dengan tahapan define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Penilaian LKPD dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada ahli validasi yang terdiri dari ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli bahasa untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk. Setelah tahap validasi dilakukan uji coba produk oleh peserta didik kelas V SD di lingkungan sekitar rumah peneliti, dengan rincian tiga peserta untuk uji coba one to one dan enam peserta didik untuk uji coba kelompok kecil (small group). Pengumpulan nilai peserta didik menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1)hasil penilaian dari para ahli sangat layak, 98% ahli media, 83% ahli materi, dan 94% ahli bahasa, (2)responden peserta didik menunjukkan hasil sangat menarik dan layak digunakan dengan hasil 92% uji coba one to one dan 93% uji coba kelompok kecil. The aims of this research and develop are to produce a student worksheets product based on learning cycle type five step (engagement,exploration, explaination, elaboration and evaluation) in social studies 5th grade elementary school. This research and development using the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Data collection technique used observation, interview, and questionnaire. The assessment of worksheet by using a questionnaire given expert review consist media expert, material expert, and language expert for product feasibility. After validation the product trial was conducted to 5th grade elementary school students around the researchers house of involving: three students for one to one trial, and six students for the small group. Collecting students assessment using a interview and questionnaire. The result of research and development show that, (1)the assessment of the experts is very feasible, 98% of media experts, 83% of material experts, and 94% of language experts, (2)the response of leaners is very interesting and worth to used, 92% for one to one evaluation and 93% for small group trial.
