Abstract

Praktikum tidak selalu dapat dilaksanakan karena keterbatasan alat dan bahan. Dengan kemajuan teknologi komputer, kegiatan praktikum dapat disimulasikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan laboratorium virtual kultur jaringan tanaman untuk peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Bidang Keahlian Agribisnis dan Agroteknologi, menguji kelayakan laboratorium virtual yang dikembangkan, dan menguji efektivitas penggunaan laboratorium virtual sebagai media pembelajaran. Pengembangan laboratorium virtual menggunakan model pengembangan Lee-Owens. Laboratorium virtual yang dikembangkan dilakukan uji kelayakan produk oleh ahli media pembelajaran, ahli materi, dan ahli desain pembelajaran dan diperoleh rerata 83%. Kesimpulan dari uji kelayakan adalah laboratorium virtual termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan bisa digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Rerata dari hasil uji coba one to one adalah 100% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Rerata dari hasil uji coba kelompok kecil adalah 100% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil uji lapangan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dilakukan dengan uji n-gain scores. Rerata hasil pre test adalah 67,70 dan rerata hasil post test adalah 91,27. Hasil uji n-gain scores menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 77%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah laboratorium virtual kultur jaringan tanaman yang dikembangkan sudah memadai untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. *********** Practice cannot always be carried out due to limited tools and materials. With advances in computer technology, practical activities can be simulated. This study aims to develop a virtual plant tissue culture laboratory for vocational students in the Agribusiness and Agrotechnology Expertise Sector, to test the feasibility of the developed virtual laboratory, and to test the effectiveness of using a virtual laboratory as a learning medium. Development of a virtual laboratory using the Lee-Owens development model. The developed virtual laboratory was tested for product feasibility by learning media experts, material experts, and learning design experts and obtained an average of 83%. The conclusion of the feasibility test is that the virtual laboratory is included in the very good category and can be used as a learning medium. The average of the results of the one to one trial is 100% with very good qualifications. The mean of the small group trial results is 100% with very good qualifications. The results of the field test to determine the effectiveness were carried out by using the n-gain scores test. The average pretest result was 67.70 and the post-test average result was 91.27. The results of the n-gain scores test showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes of 77%. The conclusion of this study is that the developed plant tissue culture virtual laboratory is adequate for use in learning and can improve learning outcomes.
