Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mengembangkan sebuah teknologi asistif yang berbentuk alat bantu yaitu Typing Stick yang dapat membantu siswa dengan cerebral palsy pada keterampilan mengetik serta melatih motorik halus siswa tunadaksa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Teknik evaluasi yang digunakan adalah Expert Review. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, Typing Stick mendapatkan nilai dari masing-masing expert yakni 78% ahli media, 83,5% ahli Pendidikan Khusus (PKh) dan 54% ahli okupasional terapi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Typing Stick dinyatakan layak dan dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam keterampilan mengetik. This study aims to produce and develop an assistive technology in the form of a tool, namely the Typing Stick which can help students with cerebral palsy in typing skills and train the fine motor skills of students with disabilities. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (RnD) method with the Borg and Gall development model. The evaluation technique used is Expert Review. Based on the validation results, Typing Stick received a score from each expert, namely 78% media experts, 83.5% Special Education experts and 54% occupational therapy experts. Based on the validation results, it can be concluded that the Typing Stick is declared feasible and can be used as a tool in typing skills.
