Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan atau library research dan bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Sumber data yang digunakan berasal dari artikel ilmiah, buku, dan skripsi yang dibatasi dari tahun 2014-2020 dengan skala nasional dan internasional dengan variabel yang relevan. Berdasarkan hasil kajian dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis di setiap jenjang pendidikan. Pembelajaran berbasis masalah berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dan peningkatan aspek lainnya seperti motivasi belajar, efikasi diri, dan disposisi matematis. ********** This research is a qualitative descriptive study that uses library research methods and aims to study the application of problem-based learning models to the ability of mathematical representation of students. The data sources used come from scientific articles, books, and thesis that are limited from 2014-2020 on a national and international scale with relevant variables. Based on the results of studies and data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of problem-based learning models affects the ability of mathematical representation at every level of education. Problem-based learning contributes in improving students' mathematical representation abilities and other aspects such as learning motivation, self-efficacy, and mathematical disposition.
