Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the influence of training method and coordination toward of sprint skills. The sample of this research concept of 48 students extracurricular activities athletics sprint number in SMP Negeri Satap 1 Cilamaya Wetan Kabupaten Karawang and done in experimental study by treatment by level 2 x 2. The data were analyzed by using analyzed of varians (ANAVA) and then continued with Tukey Test were used to test the hypotheses at the level of significance α = 0,05. The results of the research show that (1) in general, there is a significance difference between Hollow Sprint training method and Acceleration Sprint training method toward of sprint skills (Fo 6.0919 > 4,11 Ft) and Hollow Sprint training method is better than Acceleration Sprint training method for the sprint skills, (2) there is an interaction between training method and coordination for the sprint skills (Fo 5,16 > 4,11 Ft), (3) for high coordination, Hollow Sprint training method is better than Acceleration Sprint training method for the sprint skills (Qo 22,5 > 3,89 Qt), and (4) for low coordination, there is significance difference in the sprint skills between the Hollow Sprint training method and Acceleration Sprint training method (Qo 16,58 > 3,89 Qt). ********** Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode latihan dan koordinasi terhadap keterampilan lari cepat (sprint). Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 48 orang yang merupakan siswa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler atletik nomor lari di SMP Negeri Satap 1 Cilamaya Wetan dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian treatment by level 2 x 2. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis varians (ANAVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) secara umum, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara metode latihan Hollow Sprint dan metode latihan Acceleration Sprint terhadap keterampilan lari cepat (Fo 6.0919 > 4,11 Ft), dan metode latihan Hollow Sprint memberikan keterampilan lari cepat atau sprint yang lebih baik daripada metode latihan Acceleration Sprint, (2) terdapat interaksi antara metode latihan Hollow Sprint dan metode latihan Acceleration Sprint terhadap keterampilan lari cepat atau sprint (Fo 5,16 > 4,11 Ft), (3) pada siswa dengan koordinasi tinggi, metode latihan Hollow Sprint memberikan keterampilan lari cepat atau sprint yang lebih baik daripada metode latihan Acceleration Sprint (Qo 22,5 > 3,89 Qt), dan (4) pada siswa dengan koordinasi rendah, terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan pada keterampilan lari cepat atau sprint antara metode latihan Hollow Sprint dan metode latihan Acceleration Sprint (Qo 16,58 > 3,89 Qt).
