Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pandangan masyarakat dan perilaku sosial wanita rawan sosial (WRS) terkait dengan norma, etika dan estetika lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah empat keluarga WRS yang terdiri dari anak-anak yang bersekolah dan tidak bersekolah serta ibu yang bekerja sebagai WRS, warga yang tinggal di daerah Prumpung, ketua RT setempat, serta satu orang sesepuh yang tinggal lama di daerah Prumpung. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada informan. Selain itu, peneliti juga melakukan pengamatan mengenai keseharian keluarga WRS di daerah Prumpung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku sosial yang ada pada WRS masih banyak yang mengabaikan norma-norma yang ada di daerah tersebut. Meski sudah tertulis jelas norma yang dibuat oleh para warga dan ketua RT setempat mengenai kebijakan-kebijakan atau aturan-aturan yang sudah disepakati bersama untuk menjaga lingkungan Prumpung dari penyimpangan. Norma tersebut diabaikan terlihat dari etika yang mereka cerminkan atau perlihatkan kepada warga sekitar. Tidak sedikit dari mereka memperlihatkan etika yang tidak baik seperti menggunakan pakaian yang tidak sopan, membuang sampah sembarangan di kali dan tidak mematuhi aturan yang dibuat oleh RT setempat. Oleh karena itu dari norma yang diabaikan tersebut melalui etika yang mereka perlihatkan dapat menyebabkan tidak terwujudnya estetika lingkungan yang indah, asri dan nyaman sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan oleh semua warga di Prumpung, baik itu warga asli (pribumi) maupun warga pendatang (WRS). ********* The purpose of this research is to describe how people's views and social behavior of Socially Prone Women (SPW) are related to norms, ethics, and environmental aesthetics. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. The subjects used in this study were four SPW families consisting of children who went to school and did not attend school as well as mothers who worked as SPW, residents who live in the Prumpung, the head of the local neighborhood, and one elder who lived long in the Prumpung area. The data collected by conducting in-depth interviews with informants. In addition, researchers also made observations about the SPW family's daily life in the Prumpung. Although it has been clearly written, the norms that have been made and agreed by the residents and the local neighborhood head remain ignored. It could be seen from the ethics that reflected or shown to the local community. Not a few of them show bad ethics such as using disrespectful clothes, littering and not obeying the rules made by the local neighborhood. Therefore, the neglected norms through ethics could lead to the destruction of the environment.
