Abstract

ABSTRAK Diah Kurniasih, Eksistensi Tradisi Among-Among Pada Masyarakat Dusun Kedondong Desa Kalibagor Kecamatan Kebumen Kabupaten Kebumen. Skripsi. Jakarta : Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengetahui alasan masyarakat Dusun Kedondong, Desa Kalibagor, Kecamatan Kebumen, Kabupaten Kebumen masih melestarikan Tradisi Among-Among; (2) mengetahui pandangan pemerintah, tokoh adat serta masyarakat terhadap eksistensi Tradisi Among-Among di Dusun Kedondong, Desa Kalibagor, Kecamatan Kebumen, Kabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dimana dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa : 1) Eksistensi Tradisi Among-Among di Dusun Kedondong, Desa Kalibagor, Kecamatan Kebumen, Kabupaten Kebumen dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal tersebut meliputi kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap tradisi lama, wujud syukur masyarakat dan keinginan masyarakat sedangkan faktor eksternal meliputi sanksi sosial yang berupa sanksi verbalyang berlaku dalam masyarakat dan kontribusi pemerintah desa. 2) Tradisi Among-Among ditanggapi dengan positif oleh masyarakat, pemerintah, tokoh adat dan tokoh agama Dusun Kedondong dan merupakan perwujudan rasa syukur masyarakat atas karunia Allah SWT yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk berbagi kepada sesama. This study aims to: (1) find out why the people of Kedondong Hamlet, Kalibagor Village, Kebumen District, Kebumen Regency still preserve the Among-Among Tradition; (2) knowing the views of the government, traditional leaders and the community towards the existence of the Among-Among Tradition in Kedondong Hamlet, Kalibagor Village, Kebumen District, Kebumen Regency. This study uses a qualitative methodology where from the results of this study it can be concluded that: 1) The existence of the Among-Among Tradition in Kedondong Hamlet, Kalibagor Village, Kebumen District, Kebumen Regency is influenced by internal and external factors. The internal factors include public trust in old traditions, a form of community gratitude and community desires, while external factors include social sanctions in the form of verbal sanctions that apply in the community and the contribution of the village government. 2) The Among-Among tradition is responded positively by the community, government, traditional leaders and religious leaders of Kedondong Hamlet and is an embodiment of the community's gratitude for the gift of Allah SWT which is manifested in the form of sharing with others.
