Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui bagaimana bentuk fanatisme yang dilakukan kelompok suporter sepakbola Viking PERSIB Club dalam mendukung klub PERSIB Bandung, (2) mengetahui mengapa fanatisme yang dilakukan Viking PERSIB Club dapat berujung pada tindak kekerasan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan studi pustaka. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah para anggota dan pengurus dari Viking PERSIB Club serta pengamat hukum olahraga. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan : (1) bentuk fanatisme yang dilakukan oleh Viking PERSIB Club yaitu pembelian merchandise, kehadiran untuk menonton di stadion, membuat spanduk dukungan, pelemparan pada wasit ataupun pemain lawan. (2) fanatisme yang dilakukan oleh Viking PERSIB Club dapat berujung pada tindak kekerasan disebabkan oleh berbagai hal mulai dari faktor internal yaitu rasa fanatimse, rasa bangga dalam diri, kurangnya kesadaran, serta faktor eksternal yaitu, permusuhan dengan suporter lain, ujaran kebencian, keputusan kontroversial wasit, kurang pembinaan dan peran media massa dalam membesarkan isu kekerasan suporter. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa rasa kecintaan terhadap klub PERSIB Bandung dan pemurushan dengan suporter lain sangat berperan besar adanya tindak kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh Viking PERSIB Club. Tidak hanya itu para anggota tidak dapat mengontrol diri dalam mewujudukan fanatisme yang mereka miliki dalam mendukung klub PERSIB Bandung dan rela melakukan banyak hal, termasuk tindak kekerasan itu sendiri This study aims to: (1) find out how the form of fanaticism carried out by the Viking PERSIB Club football supporters group in supporting the PERSIB Bandung club, (2) find out why the Viking PERSIB Club fanaticism can lead to violence. The research method used is qualitative research using observation, interviews, field notes, and literature studies. The data sources for this research are the members and administrators of the Viking PERSIB Club as well as sports law observers. The results of this study indicate: (1) the form of fanaticism carried out by Viking PERSIB Club, namely buying merchandise, attending to watch at the stadium, making banners of support, throwing at the referee or opposing players. (2) the fanaticism carried out by the Viking PERSIB Club can lead to acts of violence caused by various things ranging from internal factors, namely A sense of fanaticism, A sense of pride in oneself, A lack of awareness, as well as external factors, namely, hostility with other supporters, hate speech, controversial decisions referees, lack of guidance and the role of the mass media in raising the issue of fan violence. The conclusion of this study shows that the sense of love for the PERSIB Bandung club and the destruction with other supporters plays A major role in the violence committed by the Viking PERSIB Club. Not only that, the members cannot control themselves in realizing the fanaticism they have in supporting the PERSIB Bandung club and are willing to do many things, including violence itself
