Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa game edukatif berbasis microsoft powerpoint sebagai media pembelajaran pendukung untuk mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) mengenai Peristiwa Seputar Proklamasi Kemerdekaan Indonesia bagi siswa Kelas V SD. Pengembangan mengacu pada model pengembangan produk DDD-E yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu decide, design, develop, dan evaluate. Produk yang dihasilkan pada pengembangan ini telah melalui evaluasi formatif yang melibatkan ahli media, ahli desain pembelajaran, ahli materi, dan pengguna yaitu siswa. Hasil dari expert review sebagai berikut; ahli media sebesar 3,10 yang dikategorikan Baik; ahli desain pembelajaran sebesar 3,81 yang dikategorikan Sangat Baik; ahli materi 1 sebesar 3,96 yang dikategorikan Sangat Baik; dan ahli materi 2 sebesar 3,48 yang dikategorikan Sangat Baik. Hasil uji coba pengguna one to one memperoleh nilai 83,3% yang dikategorikan Sangat Baik; uji coba pengguna small group memperoleh nilai 93,3% yang dikategorikan Sangat Baik; evaluasi hasil belajar memperoleh nilai 93,75 dengan predikat nilai A atau Sangat Baik. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang telah dilakukan, maka game edukatif yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS bagi siswa kelas V SD. This development research aims to produce a product in the form of an educational game based on Microsoft PowerPoint as a supporting learning media for Social Sciences (IPS) subjects about the Events Around the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence in Fifth Grade Elementary School students. Development refers to the DDD-E product development model which consists of four stages, namely decide, design, develop, and evaluate. The products produced in this development have gone through formative evaluation involving media experts, learning design experts, material experts, and users, namely students. The results of the expert review are as follows; media experts of 3.10 categorized as Good; learning design expert of 3.81 which is categorized as Very Good; material expert 1 of 3.96 which is categorized as Very Good; and material expert 2 of 3.48 which is categorized as Very Good. The results of the onetoone user trial obtained a score of 83.3% which was included in the Very Good category; small group user trial got a score of 93.3% in the Very Good category; evaluation of learning outcomes obtained a value of 93.75 with the predicate A or Very Good. Based on the results of the evaluation that has been carried out, the educational game developed is suitable for use as a learning media which can help students in social sciences for fifth grade elementary school students.
