Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk pembelajaran berupa komik pembelajaran sebagai salah satu sumber belajar pada mata pelajaran Matematika kelas V SD, dengan materi bangun datar layang-layang. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada model pengembangan Baker & Schutz. Dalam proses pengembangannya, model Baker & Schutz memiliki tujuh tahapan, yaitu tahap Product Formulation menghasilkan analisis yang menunjukan bahwa produk komik pembelajaran dibutuhkan, informasi diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan guru mata pelajaran dan melakukan observasi kondisi dari lingkungan sekolah; Instructional Spesification menghasilkan rumusan tujuan pembelajaran pada komik yang disertai dengan perumusan materi yang terdapat pada komik pembelajaran; tahap Item Tryout menghasilkan kisi-kisi untuk menilai komik pembelajaran, kisi-kisi untuk para ahli dan untuk pengguna komik pembelajaran; tahap Product Development, dalam mengembangkan produk komik pembelajaran peneliti menggunakan sistematika pembuatan komik dari Indiria Maharsi; tahap Product Tryout, tahap uji coba dilakukan oleh para ahli dan pengguna; tahap Product Revision, perbaikan produk berdasarkan saran dari para ahli pada tahap uji coba produk dan tahap Operation Analysis yaitu kesimpulan menyeluruh mengenai seluruh kegiatan pengembangan yang telah dilakukan. Evaluasi komik pembelajaran ini meliputi empat tahap evaluasi, tahap pertama evaluasi expert review, diuji coba kepada tiga orang ahli terdiri dari ahli materi, ahli desain pembelajaran dan ahli media. Tahap kedua, one to one diuji coba kepada tiga orang siswa. Tahap ketiga, small group diuji coba kepada lima orang siswa. Terakhir field test, diuji coba kepada tiga puluh orang siswa. Dari hasil uji coba tersebut diperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan expert review dengan nilai 3,16, rata-rata hasil uji coba one to one dengan nilai 81,6%, rata-rata hasil uji coba small group dengan nilai 88% dan hasil uji coba field test dengan nilai rata-rata awal 66 menjadi 75,5. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa komik pembelajaran matematika dengan materi bangun datar layang-layang yang telah dikembangkan dapat dikategorikan baik. This research was intended to produce a product of comic learning as one source of learning on math grade 5 primary school, with matter plane of kite. Research development is based on model of Baker & Schutz. In the process of its development, model Baker & Schutz having seven stage, namely the product formulation produce analysis showed that the comic learning needed, information obtained through interviews with subject teachers and conducting observations the condition of the school; instructional specification produce formulation the purpose of learning on whose comic accompanied by the formulation matter which is found in comic of learning; stage an item tryout produces the lattices of a comic to rate of learning, latticework for the experts an to the user comics learning; the stage product development, in developing the product comic learning systematic researchers used the manufacture of all the comics from Indiria Maharsi; the stage product tryout, stage the trial was done by experts and the user; product revision stage, improvement products based on the advice of experts during the preparatory phase of the trial of products and analysis phase operation that is thorough conclusion upon the whole development activities that has been carried out. Evaluation comic learning are four stages evaluation, the first stage evaluation experts review, tested to three experts consisting of the matter, the design learning and media experts. The second phase, one to one tested to three students. The third stage, small group tested for five people students. Last field test, tested to thirty students. The results of the trial obtained average whole experts review in value 3,16, average the results of the tryouts one to one worth 81,6%, average the results of the tryouts small group of 88% and the results of the tryouts of the field test with an early average score 66 be 75,5. From the result has been concluded that learning math comic with matter plane of kite which has developed can be described as well.
