Abstract

Peserta didik dalam pembelajaran biologi seharusnya memiliki kemampuan regulasi emosi yang baik. Seringkali peserta didik merasa kesulitan untuk mempelajari mata pelajaran biologi, sehingga biasanya akan timbul respon negatif karena rendahnya kemampuan regulasi emosi. Regulasi emosi yang baik diharapkan berhubungan dengan sikap belajar yang positif di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan regulasi emosi peserta didik dengan sikap belajar biologi di kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 77 Jakarta pada bulan Desember 2016-Januari 2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan studi korelasional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling sebanyak 106 peserta didik dari jurusan IPA tahun pembelajaran 2016/2017. Uji prasyarat menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah Ŷ = 102,349 + 0,819X. Koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,349 yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang rendah. Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara regulasi emosi peserta didik dengan sikap belajar biologi di kelas Students who following biology learning must have good emotion regulation skill . Biology course usually make student feel difficult to learn it, so the negative respons will construct because the emotion regulation is low. Hopefully there are association between good emotion regulation of student and positive attitude toward biology.This study aimed to determine the association between emotion regulation and learning attitude toward biology in senior high school. This research was conducted at 77 Senior High School of Jakarta in December 2016 - January 2017. The research used descriptive method through correlational study. Sampling technique was done through by simple random sampling technique with 106 students of Sains program in 2016/2017. Data showed in normal distribution and homogeneous. The regression model obtained was Ŷ = 102.349 + 0.819X. The correlation coefficient obtained was 0.349, which means there is a low correlation. In this study it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between emotion regulation of student and learning attitude toward biology in senior high school.
