Abstract

Perubahan status kawasan hutan produksi menjadi Taman Hutan Raya (Tahura) Banten pada tahun 2012 berdampak pada masyarakat di sekitar Tahura Banten. Masyarakat di sekitar Tahura biasa menggunakan lahan pertanian hutan pada wilayah Tahura Banten, dan dengan dibentuknya kawasan koservasi maka pemanfaatan lahan dibatasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan konservasi dengan persepsi masyarakat tentang perubahan status kawasan hutan produksi menjadi Tahura Banten. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan studi korelasional. Sampel berjumlah 100 responden dari empat desa. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrument tes, angket dan wawancara, teknik sampling convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 31% masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan yang sangat baik tentang konservasi, 53% masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan yang baik dan 16% memiliki pengetahuan konservasi yang cukup baik. Hasil instrumen persepsi menunjukan 55% masyarakat memiliki persepsi yang sangat tinggi terhadap tahura banten, 49% masyarakat memiliki persepsi yang tinggi sedangkan 1%nya cukup tinggi.Uji hipotesis dengan analisis regeresi linier sederhana diperoleh Ŷ=58,85 + 0,301X dan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment pada α = 0,01 diperoleh rxy = 0,573 menunjukan tingkat hubungan yang cukup kuat. Dan nilai kontribusi pengetahuan terhadap persepsi senilai 32,84%. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan terdapat hubungan positif pengetahuan konservasi dengan persepsi masyarakat tentang perubahan status kawasan hutan produksi menjadi Tahura Banten. The changed of production forest area into Forest Park (Tahura) Banten in 2012 impacted communities around Tahura Banten. Peapole who lives around Tahura used to forested in Tahura Banten are, and by the changed status of forest the usage of the area is limted. This study aims to determine the relationship of conservation knowledge with the public perception of a change in the status area of production forest be Tahura Banten. The method used is descriptive method with a correlation study. There are 100 respondents from four villages. Data taken by test, questionnaire and interview, using convenience sampling. Results showed 31% of people have a very good knowledge about conservation, 53% of people have a good knowledge and 16% have a fairly good knowledge of conservation. Results showed 55% of instruments perception the public has a very high perception towards Tahura offerings, 49% of people have the perception that high while 1% was high enough. The Hypothesis tested with simple linear regeresi analysis and the result Y = Ŷ=58,85 + 0,301X and continued to Pearson Product Moment Correlation test at α = 0.01 was obtained rxy = 0.573 it showed level relationship strong enogh. And from the contribution score we can conclude that consrvation knowladge affected 32,84% to perception. The results of this study showed a positive relationship between knowladge of consrvation to public perception of changes in the status of the production forest area into Tahura Banten.
